Dirty room and bathroom
STAFF, LOCATION, WIFI, ROOM SETUP+DESIGN
Big mirror and quite clean room. Hotel very close to highway.
Furniture is not very new. Shower is not very pretty. Ceiling ventilator works with noise. Doesn't work tv and wifi. Location of hotel is not in very nice area.
Good breakfast, Safe parking..
Old gentleman at the reception was confused (better said unqualified). Do not let me pay at night, I must pay in the morning although the city tax want me to pay at night..strange
It was near to Florence, easy to reach by bus, so we didn't have to worry about parking. The staff was really helpful, recommended us trips in the surrounding aerea, which were absolutely worst seeing them.
I called the hotel 2 times before arrival and I was told that a 20 min bus will take us to city center. Once we arrived the train station and it took us over a hour bus to the hotel. The hotel is located very far from the city center and it is very inconvenient to visit the city. The room is very small and the air conditioner did not work, and it was very noisy too. Also the hotel staff did not speak English at all which makes very hard to understand.
Close to motorway junction, supermarket and restaurants.
Wifi connection not reliable.
the reception staff
aircon making a noise but no cold air
parking possibilites staff is very kind and hepful
the refrigerator and the air conditioning are too noisy to sleep
Stuff is very friendly & helpful, they can tell you the best places to visit & what not to miss. Breakfast was nothing special, but good & enough. Maciato is free for breakfast, thus on demand. You can get the city map, hairdryer etc on the reception. Bus stop for Florence is 20m away, it takes about 30-40min to get to the city center (you go to the last bus stop) but it takes only 15min if you go by car. There is elevator in the hotel, in case you have a lot of suitcases. Free parking. There's a shopping center near by, where you can get anything from fresh fruit, fast food, pharmacy, place for kids to play in case of rainy night etc. It's ordinary place, fine value for what you pay. p.s. if you come by car, be free to go to the city by car and not by bus, there is free parking on Michelangelo square which is 10min walking distance from city center. p.p.s.
Mosquitos - my husband had big problem, I had few bites only. Sound isolation is not good, you can hear people walking & talking in the hall - it's not a problem if you don't really mind. They had wifi problem for 2 days of our stay - it was problem for us who had some urgent business to do, but for the rest of our staying it was fine.
Nothing- except: in front of the hotel is a very nice and unbelievable good trattoria where Stefania cooks for you with all her heart!
The first room, had an edge from the ceiling till the floor totally moldy! The second room had a very little bathroom: you couldn't sit normally on the toilet as the washtable stand in front of it. The shower curtain was moldy rose and black :-( No WiFi!! Never again
The bed and the view.
Wifi does not work, tv does not work, space to take bath very small, the bathroom and the bedroom get wet after I take bath, location: 45 minutes from the center (very bad), breakfast poor. I will not stay in this hotel again! System for payment the stay with creditcard not working too. I can't believe that! How a hotel can be open for guests like that?
Good for people with a car or bus. But difficult for us because we took bus and train. The breakfast was great. The gentleman made us good espresso.
Only one channel on the television. WiFi broken, therefore not available. Old and broken furniture. Tiny shower. Narrow single bed. Two electric sockets defect.
Shoping centers very close
