- cleanliness. - quietness. - staff are friendly. - not far from St LuciaTrain Station** - privacy.
- A bit spooky walking to the hotel at midnight with the ridiculous level of quietness!***
Quiet location but not far away from railway station or attractions; spacious bedroom and living room.
Shower water is weak
It is very comfor for family
freezingly cold weather, heater was not working >_< water heater either too hot or too cold despite not far from train station, still difficult to find weak wifi
I liked the spacious apartment and the great service. The location was good because it was relatively near to the train station too and the directions given were clear and accurate.
I didn't like the fact that though the first door's lock was spoilt and they said they would repair it, however after 3 days(AKA the total time we stayed there) it was still not repaired, though they promised us. With a partially unlocked front door, security was rather questionable.
Wifi was just a little unreliable!
Our original room was a studio, however the heating wasn't working, so the lovely chap who worked there, gave us a bigger apartment (separate lounge and bedroom) free of charge. The flooring is marble, but the heating comes through and warms your feet. Very accommodating staff, and lovely place.
1. The apartment is very clean. 2. Kitchen/cooking: We were travelling with our young kid, and stayed for 3 nights. We could comfortably cook some basic meals in the kitchen conveniently with the pots and pans provided. The grocery store (E Coop) is about 12-15 minutes walk away, near the bus station, and involves crossing a large bridge over the grand canal. The apartment was stocked with basic and necessary detergents/mops/scrubs etc for cleaning vessels, and to take care of general cleaning. There was no dish-washer however. 3. Ample cupboard space, wi-fi working ok (connectivity was confined to the living room in our case). 4. The apartments are located 5 minutes walk away from the station (no crossing of bridges required with luggage), and about 10 minutes walk away from the bus station (requires crossing one large bridge over the grand canal) from where there are shuttle buses to the airport. The Vaporetto stop is right opposite the train station (5 minutes walk).
We liked everything about this place. My only feedback to tourists is that it might be better to stay nearer to the main sights and attractions of Venice, than to stay in this location, which involves a vaporetto ride to most places.
Everything! Clean as a whistle, every kitchen utensil you can imagine. Stylish. This is a self contained apartment great for a longer stay as you can do your own cooking etc. fabulous.
Nothing not to like.
It would have been good from the stuff to let us know either not to open the windows at all or provide some mosquito repelent... First night, 3 bites, second night, 6 bites, third night (with repelent bought in the farmacy), 5 bites. The duvent covers were not new, they were used and they smelled, we asked them to change them and they forgot... Luckily, the next two days were warmer and we didn't need them. We would have had to ask again. Kitchen good, but it would have been nice to have a toaster!
Great location close to station so we didn't need to lug our cases far or try to work out the vaporettos on arrival. It is in a very quiet location but everything is only 20-25 mins walk away. The apartment was probably the best equipped we had in Italy. Some good quiet places to eat alfresco on canals quite close by.
T.V. remote was WET? and wouldn't work didn't really matter as there are no English language channels. This would be good to have. Otherwise nothing!
the experience of an apartment was very good. the cleanliness of the apartment was excellent.
the closing time of the main office.
Lots of space and room to move around. Much larger than I expected. Would be great for a family with children.
It's all good.
Fairly good experience for a first visit to Venice. Close to Santa Lucia train station, easy to reach by foot, decent amenities. Interesting and spacious.
Second sleeping bed could be cleaner without harming anyone... :)
Great location for sights, restaurants and transport. Very quiet and secure. It was very clean and the kitchen facilities were excellent
Nothing serious but the layout of the apartment was a little unusual. The shower was a little cramped. The promised change of towels didn't materialise.
Location was good, close to train station and the Ferrovia vapporetto stops, but very difficult to find. A sign as you come through the small archway from the station pointing to the apartments would have saved so much time. The apartment was small and appeared to be quite new. Heating was excellent.
Bathroom.... it was difficult to get in and out of shower without stepping over toilet. Furniture though modern was cheap.
The apartment is very close to the train station and within 10 minutes walking distance from major touristic attractions.
They only have room service every 3 days so it's good to stock up on toiletries.
The room was beautiful and it was very cost effective.
The location was a little sketchy, a window was broken-a hinge was missing so it closed but could be easily pulled (or pushed from outside) until it was mostly open, the washing machine did not work, and we could not access wifi because when we called management (after business hours because everyone leaves very early) she could not help us with anything, not even the wifi login or password. If you need anything after hours, you cannot get any help at all.
The location, the spacious room. It was a pleasure to be away from the crowds.
Proximity to railway station and to vaporetto, and interesting ghetto area. Quiet, clean, secure and comfortable.
Kitchen facilities only OK, very squashed piece of bench to eat at.
Convenient location. Easy to move luggages without bridge crossing or ferry hopping
Housekeeping was supposed to be every 3 days.. we stayed 5 nights. No one came to replenish towels ando dispose trash
Location was excellent. It was off the main street, but not too far. It was quite the manageable distance, even though we had very young toddlers and preschoolers in tow. The water bus stop, Ferrovia, was right in front of the street we needed to walk through to get to the hotel. Even from Piazza le Roma, it was not far. It took us, at most, 15 minutes to walk. If we walked the back way, we could get to several restaurants or walkway alongside the Grand Canal, in less than 10 minutes, with all the children walking. The room was clean, quiet. Staff was quick to respond for everything! They were so incredibly helpful! I truly can't find anything, specific to the hotel and hospitality, to complain about.
Some of us had lots of mosquito bites. Understandably as the room sits right alongside the canal, but something we failed to consider. Not a fault of the hotel, but worth mentioning. Also, there is a cleaning fee of 40 euros if the room needs to be cleaned before the 3 day limit they have set up. We felt it was a little high, but, again, in fairness to them, the room rates were very reasonable and had we not needed an early cleaning, it would not have been an issue. Laundry also took longer to dry than we expected, but the humidity there is much higher. Again, not a negative remark against the hotel as this is beyond their control, but another thing worth mentioning for those who have plans to do laundry.
Large comfortable updated apartment very close to the train station, but very quiet and away from the crowds. Supermarket close- really enjoyed having cooking facilities.
nothing- it was all good
I've stayed in Venice three times and this place was absolutely the best quality for the price. Maybe we lucked out, because we had a ground level, one bedroom apartment, that was at least 500 sg ft. It was amazing; big kitchen with everything we needed, a huge bedroom with a nice comfortable bed, and an added bonus; there was a a washing machine in the bathroom. I loved the location, close to the supermarket, great local restaurants, and close to the train station and water taxi's. The staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
It was a bit difficult to find and their sign is small. When you enter the courtyard, it's the yellow apartment building to your left.
