The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was small, but adequate. The room looked out over the Pantheon and Piazza Rotunda. So much activity there. It was great!! |

The ambience of waking up facing the front of the Parthenon was stunning. Very romantic setting. Typical European hotel room...hard bed, small shower, room on the small side, many flights of stairs to the room although there is a lift after the first floor...but the location is wonderful and I'm so glad we stayed here. The staff was incredibly helpful and extremely friendly. Great choice! |

We appreciated the genuine welcome we received on arrival, and we found all the staff unfailingly helpful, friendly and kind. This is an indispensable ingredient for a happy stay at a modest hotel, and we were well pleased with the atmosphere that created. Breakfast was not served on the premises, but we like going to cafes anyway when we are in Italy - we try to do as much as we can of what local people do. The square is very beautiful and convenient for energetic walkers around cities, such as we are, but noisy and under siege at the same time. When the windows were closed we could not hear the noise. The bathroom was not completely up to scratch - the tap leaked when you turned it on, but we learned to cope, and it was not really a negative. We forgot to mention it at the time. |

The hotel is in front of the Pantheon itself. The location is quite lively especially at night, all people are happy and there's lots of music playing. The staffs are quite friendly too and very helpful. |

The hotel was in an excellent location with a fantastic view over the Pantheon. Well located in the historic centre we were able to walk everywhere. The air conditioning worked but not that well so we were a bit warm on one evening. |

The location of the hotel was very good and our room was clean. Our room was small and very utilitarian, no character whatsoever. The bathroom was small, shower cubicle only 70 cms square!!! The airconditioning barely coped with the heat, we lived with closed shutters and windows. |

The best part of this hotel was its perfect central location. My room looked right out at the Pantheon. The facilities were clean and nice, internet was available (for a fee), breakfast was included (nothing special, but nice to have), the price was reasonable, etc. For a European hotel, my room was actually quite big, with a huge closet. I would definitely stay here again. |

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. We had a view of the Pantheon and felt a part of the atmosphere even when sitting in our room. The staff, especially Simone, was so nice and helpful. We were assisted in making train reservations and offered suggestions of places to go and see. Breakfast in the piazza was equally amazing. I much preferred sitting outside with the spectacular view versus being inside in a dining room. Every aspect of our stay seemed to add to the experience of being in Rome and I thank the staff at Albergo Abruzzi for being so welcoming and helpful. Should I return to Rome, I will definitely stay again at this wonderful hotel. |

The view. Used our room to show to potential guests when we were not there. Had sub standard air conditioning and were not trustworthy. |
