Despite the dated decor of room. The hotel was in the best location. And the room had the most amazing view of the Pantheon.(room 104) The staff could not do enough for us. I would gladly stay again.
Breakfast was adequate but nothing to write home about.
The location was top notch. It was steps from the Pantheon and located in the Piazza della Rotonda, where there are no vehicles allowed to drive through. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected in city center Rome. The staff was top notch and accommodated all of our needs. Breakfast was included at a cozy little restaurant just across the Piazza, and many of the main attractions were in walking distance. We used a taxi one time during our whole stay!
Being located in a Roman Piazza makes for a noisy evening well past midnight. Although the windows get rid of most of the sound, expect to hear the occasional ruckus outside in the late hours.
Great location, right in the heart of the pantheon piazza! A coins throw away from the Trevi and Piazza Navona. Modern rooms and friendly staff. Loved it and will be back!!
Inexpensive hotel next to one of the most famous squares in Italy. Daily fresh towels. Breakfast overlooking Pantheon.
Renovated room with view of Pantheon. Both just lovely! Fantastic location. Great choice of restaurants near hotel. Excellent, friendly staff. Good breakfast.
the location, the interior design of the room including nice modern fixtures in the bathroom, the view of the Pantheon
room so small and tight, bed bit too soft
We were told there was a problem as there was not any rooms for us and other couple for our first night so were taken to another hotel across the Piazza which was extremely nice and given free access to fridge bar but inconvenience when only there for 3 nights in having to move again next day!
Loved the location and the staff were absolutely wonderful.
Annex room was very tired and noisy, but very comfortable if you only need it to sleep in.
Location, breakfast, view, AC
The location, staff and modern rooms were fantastic. Super fast and free wi if was great. Breakfast outside of the hotel was great to start the day with staff there also delightful. Despite the location once you closed the windows you couldn't hear the outside at all and slept great with block out shades
The stairs needed updating.
Great location.right opposite the pantheon.. Restaurants lined up very very near... Staff was very helpful in every way...
Room size... Not much of a lobby..
Location next to Pantheon Remodeled Rooms View of Pantheon
Same breakfast everyday Some noise from square
Noisy Very small room
We loved everything. Rom was small but cleverly designed, very clean, with very modern bathroom and working air-conditioning. Good breakfast in the restaurant across the piazza. Pantheon view just breathtaking. Can't imagine going to Rome and staying anywhere else.
One male member of staff clearly worked off commissions trying to convince me that a shuttle to the airport would cost me the same as taking the train. The same staff member directed me to the restaurant next door when I asked where I might find the best spaghetti bolognese in central rome. Suffice to say, it was rubbish.
Fantastic locale. Great service. Great room.
Nothing at all.
We liked the location obviously! The staff are all very nice and helpful. The 2 rooms we booked were new and modern, nicely furbished and astonishingly well insulated. No noise despite living right in the center of a very animated piazza. Very nice bathrooms, good bedding. Absolutely clean. The elevator starts from the first floor only, which might only be a problem for old/impaired persons.
As the hotel does not have common areas and all the space is taken up by the rooms, breakfast is taken outside, opposite the hotel on the wonderful Piazza Rotonda. Fantastic view right onto the Pantheon and nice atmosphere in the piazza from morning to evening. Breakfast is OK if you can do without bacon and eggs, those are just awful. But nice homemade cakes and tarts. Cheese and ham and jam and nice bread. The personnel is polite but somehow seem to think that they give more than they receive. The Buffet coffee is lousy and if you order a second capuccino, they draw a face. It's a pity to write this here because it might give a bad impression of the hotel, which is really very good value for money, but I have to write it somewhere.
Some of the rooms are a bit small
Great location. We walked everywhere very easily. Staff are lovely and very helpful. We had some additional requests for our stay and staff were very quick to respond to emails. Amazing view of the pantheon both from the room and from breakfast. Would stay again without a doubt!
Opposite the Pantheon so centrally located in the older part of Rome and hence near many attractions and heaps of restaurants. It's away from metro stations, which isn't a problem once the bus system is mastered. The sleeping area in our apartment (304) was quite compact (the website says 17 sq m but this must include the reasonably sized bathroom) . We only had the bed or one small padded stool to sit on. From the floor plan on the emergency escape card, there are 3 much more spacious rooms on our floor which are probably worth the extra money if staying for more than a night or two. That said, it was very well renovated, and had decent shower which is not always the case in Italy/Croatia.
breakfast in the piazza..excellent atmosphere and excellent coffee.good food
no light on the stairs to the annex. no explanation of hotel services
Location Clean Modern
Consistent A/C, WiFi. Excellent buffet breakfast in nearby cafe. Refrigerator in the room.
Front door always open to the crowd. Small elevator
The location, the friendly staff, the breakfast at the cafe at the square
Beware that the rooms in the annex do not have a view towards Pantheon. This should be made more clear at the website. Wifi coverage on the annex was weak.
Amazing view of the Pantheon
