Score from 176 reviews Very good
The location, very central. Large rooms, high ceilings, excellent wifi.
Breakfast is poor, and parking on the street is really not safe at all.
Good Location near Genoa Piazza Principle railway station, Friendly staff, good Wifi.
The "death trap" shower, 500mm above the bathroom floor with a broken stool. Non working bar fridge in spite of their claims. Room was not locked by the staff on our last full day, although nothing was missing. Limited breakfast no ham or eggs on our last morning, "Finito" according to staff.
The staff were excellent very helpful even under the bad weather condition.Breakfast could not have been better.Beds clean and very comfortable.
Location is excellent and within walking distance from the train station. excellent breakfast friendly and helpful staff
Good Value Helpful Staff
Good value for money, good location, good breakfasts.
Closeness to rail station
Shared bathroom. No wi fi in bedroom. Breakfast below average. Girl on reception at checkout incompetent
Close to the train station!
To noise from the street!
The location is good - absolutely nothing else!!!
This hotel is one of the worst dives ever, it is very much over priced andtruly uncomfortable. My bathroom was dow right dangerous-you could break your neck just stepping in and out of the shower stall. Aside from all that, the noise level from the street and the next room, made rest impossible. In short - do not go there.
Bed bugs I returned home and my face and body were covered. I called on Wed night and left a message with the hotel. no answer. I wrote them. No answer. Today, Friday, I called 4 times and was told to call the manager at 2. I called. She told me she would call back in 10 minutes. She did not. I called 4 times more.No answer. I continue the pursuit of what is fair. I fear others will get this problem.
Price is not appropriate with quality of hotel.
location near train station
Breakfast very poor quality - didn't eat or drink anything. Room was filled with tobacco smoke on arrival and continued to smell so we didn't unpack. the shower did not function properly.
Closeness to train and walking distance to cafes, shops and harbour
Noise from the street and neighbouring buildings.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Close to the main train station. Quiet unless you open the window. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Good value. Excellent restaurant nearby (Lupo)
Scarey old lift.
Very close to the main train station and bus to the airport. Nice and varied options for meals. Breakfast was good.
The stairs. No room cleaning during our three day stay. The rooms are fairly spartan and could use some maintenance.
The hotel locates in a very convenient location where is very close to the train station. There are many coffee shops and restraurants nearby as well. The staffs are nice and hospitable. They provide free breakfast in a nice room.
Wifi signal is weak very much, even I go to the lobby, I still couldn't use their wifi. The room is clean and quiet for sleeping but the shower cubicle is bad to use because the door can't be closed completely and the water always stay in the shower cubicle because of the outlet pipe problem I guess.
Rooms were very privat. Very secure with camera's and double door system. Clean. Breakfast ok.
At night we had the window open and it was extreme loud with the room facing the street. Bathroom very small. Shower was cold, you had to run it a very long time before it got warm. Bit expensive. The breakfast was a bit 'do it yourself'.
Not much! The Location was decent: right by the main train station (Piazza Principe) and also a fairly short walk to some of the main points of interest in Genova.
Generally a dirty and unorganized hotel. Staff were helpful when we asked for something, but took no care or initiative to maintain the hotel. The floor of the room was dirty; needed to be properly swept and mopped. The shower curtain was covered with mold (some of it slimey). We asked to have it replaced but it was not done. When they "cleaned" our room, they took the towels but did not replace them. The beds were uncomfortable, mainly due to old and flattened pillows which were like laying your head on a bag of bricks. The breakfast was also not very good. An ok selection of bread and cake, but no one from the staff were taking care to ensure that things were properly stocked or that used tables were cleaned and ready for the next guest. When we arrived for breakfast all the tables were dirty, there were no plates or bowls available, the coffee machine was not working (out of milk) and much of the food needed replenishing. When asked, the one staff member there did help, but these things should be done without guests having to ask.
We staid 1 night and i was nice, cleam and confortable. Nearby to the piazza Principe and the port.
Location was close to old centre. Staff was reasonably friendly
Ceiling height in our apartment was only just two metres at the high points, and then had big plastered beams in it (4-5 per room) which brought the ceiling height down another good 20 cm. This meant that in our family of 6, only our 9-yr old daughter could walk straight up in the apartment, let alone shower. The apartment was severely dated. The promised air conditioning didn't work. Breakfast was hopeless. No plates, no cups, no food. On arrival we also didn't have towels yet and had to wait until past 9.30 that evening to get them (with the kids therefore unable to shower). The pictures looked dated but ok, but do not go there!
Breakfast, clean, service, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, small kitchen, very good pizza other street side.
Conditioner wasn't working, very noisy because of windows going to street.
The hotel is near to the train station and to the port and the city center is just a short walk away. The staff was very nice and helpful.
very good location, very kind and responsible stuff
Staff were kind
It was too noisy there.
After staying in shared dorms in hostels for a month, it was nice to have a comfortable single room with good wifi and a decent breakfast included
Roadworks outside the hotel made it very noisy when trying to sleep. Air conditioning didn't work very well but luckily it wasn't to hot and the ceiling fan was sufficient
