A 5-minute walk from Genoa Brignole Train and Metro Station, Palazzo Gropallo is set in an early 1900’s building with balcony. It is characterised by a mix of classic and modern interiors.

Hotel Genziana is in the centre of Genoa, in an area filled with Genoa’s typical alleys called Caruggi, just 250 metres from San Giorgio Metro Station.
Score from 569 reviews Good
Set in the heart of the historic centre, Cit Hotel Britannia is close to the major attractions of the area and just a few steps away from the railway station and the cruise ships terminal.
Score from 1 review Good
Situated in the center of Genoa, in front of Mazzini’s house (a museum of Risorgimento), the hotel is ideally set within easy reach of many of the city’s main attractions.

We staid 1 night and i was nice, cleam and confortable. Nearby to the piazza Principe and the port.
Location was close to old centre. Staff was reasonably friendly
Ceiling height in our apartment was only just two metres at the high points, and then had big plastered beams in it (4-5 per room) which brought the ceiling height down another good 20 cm. This meant that in our family of 6, only our 9-yr old daughter could walk straight up in the apartment, let alone shower. The apartment was severely dated. The promised air conditioning didn't work. Breakfast was hopeless. No plates, no cups, no food. On arrival we also didn't have towels yet and had to wait until past 9.30 that evening to get them (with the kids therefore unable to shower). The pictures looked dated but ok, but do not go there!
Breakfast, clean, service, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, small kitchen, very good pizza other street side.
Conditioner wasn't working, very noisy because of windows going to street.
The hotel is near to the train station and to the port and the city center is just a short walk away. The staff was very nice and helpful.
very good location, very kind and responsible stuff
Staff were kind
It was too noisy there.
After staying in shared dorms in hostels for a month, it was nice to have a comfortable single room with good wifi and a decent breakfast included
Roadworks outside the hotel made it very noisy when trying to sleep. Air conditioning didn't work very well but luckily it wasn't to hot and the ceiling fan was sufficient
Located close to the train station. The staff was excellent. A very good breakfast.
The bathroom was tiny (miniscule) and not very clean.
We were travelling by train from France and back so the location was very good for us. On the website it was written that breakfast is for additional charge but at the hotel we were told that it´s added to the price of the room. Breakfast was quite normal, different kind of pastry, yogurth, coffee, juices. Room itself was pretty big.
Really tiny shower tub. There could be blankets in the rooms because at the moment there were only some kind of sheets. Check out until 10AM is quite early but you can leave the luggage at the reception. Price of the room isn´t very cheap because in fact hotel isn´t special.
Location is excellent and people are friendly
Breakfast was not very good and wi fi does not work in the rooms
The room was in terrible condition - the shower, the sink and the wc were partially damaged - there was mould on the ceiling - there was written that there is WiFi but there was not
The location was good
It was very warm when we were there, but the air conditioning didn't work at all. Opening the window didn't help and it's a very loud street so we didn't sleep much that night.
I stayed in a comfortable single room with it's own bathroom. The location is super convenient as it's close to the train station and the old town.
I can not complain
Air con didn't work although it was above 30 degree Celsius. It was really warm at night.
The location is good.
No air-conditioning was available. They said air-conditioner is central and will start after few week. The room was very very hot and very very noisy. Honestly, I could not sleep the whole night because of both.
1. room neat and clean 2. location is near the station Genova Piazza Principe 3. staffs are nice and friendly, also helpful 4. the hotel is well secured 5. it's stated as a room without bathroom but you still have a basin
1. could be noisy in the night due to the vicinity of a main road 2. room is very hot in the summer but you cannot open the window because otherwise you can't sleep 3. I got bitten by the mosquito
Excellent location - only a few minutes walk from main railway station. Old town and port are close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was simple, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Wi-fi reception good. Great value for money.
This hotel has an excellent location in a busy street near the train station. We had a very quaint room and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Perfect location – 2 minutes from the central station and 5 minutes to the old city centre. Wi-Fi. Never experienced a queue to the shared bathroom – it was shared between just me and other room. Great value for money.
I booked a room with a private bathroom, but was told that the room had some leaking, and was provided a room with a shared bathroom for a lower price. Not sure if they actually have rooms with private bathrooms as the explaining receptionists didn't look confident enough. :) Anyway I had a great stay.
Wonderfull Julia/ Many thanks for travelling in Genova
I booked a room in a hotel with air conditioning ( which was something offered by the hotel), but when I noticed that it was not working I asked the hotel for it because it was very hot and the owner ( who was very rude) told me that it was not the period of the year to turn on the air conditioning and that in his opinion I should sleep well without it. He added that he was not going to turn it on for only one person. It seems to me that the fact that this man (being the owner of a hotel) does not know how to treat his guests in a polite way is something weird. People like me, that in this case have paid for an amenity ( air conditioning) that does not exist and apart from that the owner has the right to tell you how to sleep: " you have to sleep without.
Easy to find, good location, very central
On a noisy street, not possible to leave the window open due to traffic, but what can be expected at such a location....
Very closed to the central railway station (but without minuses) and Old Town
Location! You can see the train station from the hotel. The hotel is more like a higher end hostel. Friendly staff. Clean bedroom and common room. Nice, small inexpensive cafes nearby.
Quality of internet reception depends on how close one is to the router.
