Staff very friendly and helpful, location if coming from road/inland side, would be a hike from the train, price comparatively reasonable, good wifi, and clean.

Our room was pretty small but was balanced out by having a private outdoor patio area. The back side where our room was also very quiet from external noise. Some hallway noise due to main floor and echo off floors/walls.

Our host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. The location was good because it was just 2 steps beyond the main restaurant area so, very close but no noise.

No view except of street below, but view hotels were more expensive

The best part about staying here is the owner, Andrea. Once I booked the trip, I received a lovely email from him with a map to the hotel from the train station and a link to the train station's website. Once we arrived, he explained everything very carefully about the hotel and gave us suggestions for places to eat and to hike. When the weather was rainy, he gave us suggestions for things to do. The room was cleaned every day with fresh linens and towels. The location was perfect for our 5 day adventure. A few days before we left, Andrea informed us of a train strike schedule for our day of departure. Thanks to him, we were able to find a train out of the town to make it to our flight.

Whilst it is basic in amenities, the welcome you receive from Andrea is second-to-none. Absolutely fantastic host who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Fantastic. From advice on where to eat, hike and shop to the very warm and friendly welcome, you'll not find a better host in Cinque Terre! Very hard-working and super-friendly. I would definitely return.

Free WiFi doesn't stretch to all rooms, but this is being improved shortly.

The owner, Andrea was excellent. He was extremely helpful, giving us maps of the city, trails to other towns in the cinque terre, train schedules, and recommendations for dinner. He was very friendly and a joy to speak to.

The service was excellent. Upon arrival we were given a map and detailed information about the town and area. This was greatly appreciated. Owner spoke excellent English.

There was no breakfast, but we were given detailed options to choose from for breakfast.

The host Andrea was extremely friendly and made us feel like we are friends. He gave recommendations on where we can have our meals (cheap n nice). Wifi signal was strong.

Location was a little far from train station and at end of that street it is at. Small room, small toilet. No hair dryer.

Andrea who worked in the reception were extremely helpful, a real gem. He even offered us to borrow a torch in case it would be very dark when we returned to the hotel in the evenings. How thoughtful is that" He also gave us a map with all the best restaurants marked. We went to three of them and they were all excellent. Before the trip I also emailed him a couple of questions and he answered within 10 minutes.

Andrea was so friendly and helpful. He gave me a map with all great places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again anytime. Clean rooms and excellent location. Must stay here!!!!

Andrea, the owner, was absolutely FABULOUS. He gave us his cell number to call at any time if we needed anything. He had a map of the town ready for us with specific places highlighted to go to. And he did not steer us wrong! He was the best part of this place, for sure.

It was very basic. They tried to meet all our needs but being only a 1 star Albergo, it just wasn't nice enough for me. the bed was not very comfortable and it was very noisy outside the window. but it was worth the price.

The employees were great and extremely helpful. The room was neat and always re-cleaned and linens replaced each day.

Bathroom was a little small but this is pretty common in Italy.

Andrea is the friendliest and most helpful desk clerk we have ever met. Location is great just a 10 min walk from the train station in the old part of town. Website map was a bit misleading indicating it might have been out of town a ways. Enjoyed our stay in Monterroso.

It's in a great location and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a cheap hotel but i've stayed in a lot of places more expensive that are a lot worse. Andrea is extremely lovely and helpful and our room had a little terrace which was quite nice. We got suggestons of places to eat and good information about the town. For the price this place was pretty good. We had a happy stay.

Great staff member who was really helpful. He gave us tips about everything and he was a really friendly guy. Great location as you didn't have to schlep up a massive hill to get to the accommodation. Would highly recommend.
