Very convenient location -- only 10 minutes' walk from the railway station, yet also within easy walking distance of the seafront and city centre. Excellent buffet breakfast. Window well-insulated, so not aware of noise from traffic outside. Best lighting I've had in a hotel room -- 2 anglepoise-type lamps which made reading in bed, or at the good-sized table, very comfortable. Spacious shower-room. |

An all-round good hotel. Staff, location and room were very good. Breakfast was well laid out and plentiful. Information on transport and local places to see was very helpful. It would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities, but realise that this is not as common across europe as in Britain |

Our room (#114). It was beautifully decorated, very elegant and clean. A bit strange though -- the bathroom was more spacious than the room. We arrived early and was told that we can go to another room that is not a non-smoking room. We checked the room but I found that I could still smell the smoke, so we decided to wait for our original room (which was being cleaned). We were glad that we decided to wait as the original room (#114) was much more beautiful than the other (smoking) room. The bathroom is spacious but only has shower. A bath tub would be great. |

I enjoyed the front desk service, the room layout and design, close to the train station and the breakfast was very good. A bit far from main piazzas, loud during the day, no internet available. |

I liked the room and the variety of food for breakfast. It was not a good idea to open a window because of traffic noise. This was not a real problem when the air conditioning was on. |

The appearance of the entrance, lobby and breakfast room is excellent. The breakfast itself was reasonably good although, on two of our four mornings, I needed to ask for the ham and salami platter to be restocked, for it was empty and this had not been noticed by the staff. I had been impressed by the advertised appearance of the bedrooms and bathrooms but, due possibly to our requesting twin beds upon arrival, we were switched to the businessmen's floor, where the room was no more than a functional box totally lacking in charm. I also did not like the two red lights which blinked continuously during day and night, one above the emergency light and the other above the temperature control, which itself refused to be reset and automatically reverted to 22 degrees. |

at our (late) arrival no classical room was available anymore, so we received a modern one, without view. Next day we were able to move to a perfect room with view on the piazza. Nice staff, excellent breakfast (included in price). |

The staff were very helpful and after a rrequest for a change the room was very nice. The situation is excellent for exploring the city, with most attractions just a short walk away. Not all the rooms are of a good dstandard. we were first given a very worn room with two holes in the wall plaster. after pointing this out we were given a much better room that matched my expectations for the price. Parking was not possible on site and guests need to factor in the cost and difficulty not just in parking but in accessing the hotel by car. |
