Very comfortable, cozy, quiet room with excellent location. Good sized bathroom and excellent breakfast next door.
The location. The breakfast Everything.
Great location. Good breakfast. Good service.
The hotel sign is small so it was hard to find. Expensive and not 3* standard but this is common for all hotels in Venice.
The room was clean, comfortable, and large windows opened up to see over a small square. Very romantic and a canal with gondolas was steps away.
The hotel was hidden away in back of a main street. There were no staff at the Anatasia. They were in another hotel on the front side. Very confusing.
Conveniently located in area behind St Marks Square. Very good breakfast. Reasonably priced for Venice.
It took us an hour to locate property. It is rather out of the way and an accurate map showing the shortest route when dragging luggage would be a plus.
Location.....everything went as we had hoped!
Amazing breakfast Great location Small but very functional and comfortable room Credit card hold resolved promptly
Building entrance card did not work Double hold on my credit card
Excellent location, easy to get to from water transport, quiet, good breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff
Rooms are basic but OK for a night or two.
the location is very touristy and near S Marco. the room is clean and the bathroom is comfortable.
it doesn't have the receptionist all the time so in case in check in or any thing needed you have to go to the other hotel or call them. The AC control is not inside the room and you have to call the reception to adjust the temperature.
paid for superior, got a very small room on 4th floor with a walk up. Hotel Violin desk staff treats hotel Anastasia guests as sub par, not very friendly reception.
Clean facilities, breakfast, location, staff, luggage storage after check out,
Bed was uncomfortable, hotel didn't provide a map.
Excellent location. Clean rooms. Breakfast is very good.
It does not tell you that you have to leave your hotel and go to another to have breakfast. There was rarely anyone at reception in Hotel Anastasia, it was always deserted unless a guest was actually arriving. If you needed to ask for something, you had to go to the other "sister hotel", or try to find one of the housekeeping staff.
Poor value for money for €190 per night ....but I guess location near San Marco Piazza means a high price....still expect more from hotel facilities.
Location was close to main attractions. I'm
Felt it was expensive for the cost.
super excellent staff: we came across national railway strike and the staff came to the railway station to pick us up and the boss sent us to the hotel with detailed tourism information.
friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent location.
Location close to St .Marks Sq and also waterbus. Good breakfast Clean and comfortable rooms
There are no tea / coffee facilties available except 7am - 10.30am not very spacious rooms, short of clothes storage.
Location Breakfast Authenticity
Bathroom small No tea or coffee making facilities
Location and cleanliness
Having to go outside and around the corner for breakfast. Room size quite small
It was convenient and clean and the staff were very helpful.
You have to walk through a little alleyway to get to the hotel and at night that is a bit unpleasant but doable.
This place was close to all the main sites. Breakfast was amazing.
Wifi was horrible. Rooms were quite small.
Excellent location for seeing sights and close to restaurants. Excellent breakfast with gondolas outside the window. Air conditioning worked well and it was a quiet spot for a good nights sleep after sightseeing.
Only 1 set of stairs to overcome with luggage. The excellent breakfast. The friendly staff
Rooms small. But after my complaint I was moved to a slightly larger room
we had stayed before and knew the advantages of the hotel. it is a dormitory and the breakfast is served next door in the main hotel. the situation is right next to the principle gondola station and so there is always an interesting start to the day watching them get ready as you eat breakfast.Staff were helpful and literally there is a 2 mins walk to the main attractions. Clearly we liked it so much we came back to it. the bedroom was efficiently air conditioned, and in Venice in August that is worth a lot.2 mins from the vaporetti station on the way in so it really is easy to get to.
this room had the toilet so close to the wall that it was awkward, the shower curtain stuck magnetically to your bare wet skin as you showered or you soaked the floor. the room we stayed in this year was a lot smaller and the loo was overlooked! ( no blinds!). really you want to get to the higher rooms that have more light. Previously the coffee machine was free at all times, now it was available from 8.30 to 10.30 when you're basically having your breakfast.
The location of the hotel was excellent bit far enough off the main street that there was no traffic noise. The staff was curteous and knowledgeable.
The bed was too soft for us.
