Location, support prior to check in via email (location, parking etc), positive staff
Limited hot water, small bathroom (hard to move inside), needs daily change of sheets
Everything is good! Kitchen facilities like fridge, microwave, etc are available!
Location very convenient, close to all main attractions, train and bus station and restaurants, the Albergo was clean, enough room size for the 3 of us, storages and kitchen. Debbie was very helpful and friendly all the time. Roberto kept a great communication with me and provided an extra bed for an additional family. I will suggest it to people looking for a decent place in the center of Florence to explore the beautiful city. Nothing fancy or sophisticated for people looking for luxury.
It was what we expected for the price we paid and location, perfect.
It was a few blocks from the train station. All sights were in walking distance. Thanks to Roberto for recommending the pizza place in the central market. It was the best pizza we had in Italy. Also thanks for carrying our luggage upstairs.
The proximity to transport for sightseeing
Location. Room was clean.
Heater was not working.
Ultra comfortable bed, piping hot shower, spotless kitchen facilities and excellent communication from initial enquiry to settling our account. Helpful to leave suitcases safely on departure day and really appreciated Roberto's extended hospitality of bathroom and kitchen facility to make tea and coffee on our return to collect luggage. Lovely staff, thank you. Station a realistic 8 minute walk.
There is nothing to dislike as our stay in this hotel was very enjoyable and convenient. The quality of tea and coffee offered was exceptionable.
The hotel is within a walking distance of most attractions. Its cleanliness and facilities are excellent. The hotel staff is superb! Good value for money! I would highly reccommend it.
distance from the train station; clean; friendly staff.
hard to find the hotel entrance at first; wifi frequently get disconnected in room 2;
Roberto was lovely, friendly and welcoming. He volunteered advice of places to go and was a real gentleman. Whilst we had the private bathroom, this did not cause much inconvenience as it was closely located to the room. In easy walking distance of all main sites.
It would be helpful for a latch system on the bathroom and/or bedroom particularly due to the shared bathroom. We ended up using paper to wedge the door for nighttime use to prevent disturbing sleeping guests in other rooms.
The owners were very gracious and accommodating. They help you with your luggage as you come up to the second floor. Access to common kitchen was great.
The owner was so helpful & the rooms were spotless. Would definitely stay there again.
Room 2 was a bit noisy as it was the only room on the street side
The location was great. We could walk down our street to many restaurants and it would take us straight to major sites. Our room was clean and easy to get to.
Minor thing was our shower door leaked water on the floor, a good bit of water. Other than that, everything was great.
During our stay, our flight back to Paris was cancelled due to strike, Mr Roberto was very helpful to communicate with the local airline staff and also help us to book the train ticket to leave Florence. the helper-Debbie also very friendly. Bed was very comfortable, quiet but very central location, close to the main station and within easy walking distance to many of the historic sites, groceries shop & laundry facilities . A communal kitchen with a fridge, microwave, cappuccino coffee maker with the free supply of coffee & tea.
Very good sized bedroom with seating area looking onto a typical street view. Original shutters inside and out were charming with double glazing added for soundproofing. Clean and freshly presented. Very comfortable mattress a godsend. Shared kitchen very handy and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Short walk from train and close to many centre attractions. Wished could have stayed longer!
Hotel was perfect but a warning if planning on using buses you Must validate ticket once inside the bus - ignorance is not bliss and a 50 euro fine isn't either!
Terrific little spot - excellent value for money. Excellent location only 5 mins from the centre, loads of bars & restaurants in the area. Room was big & airy, nicely decorated, compact bathroom - all very nicely finished off. Would definitely recommend this place.
Nothing to not like
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is only within 10 mins far from train station by walking. The facilities and cleanliness are excellent. Common kitchen is very useful for us.
The wifi was poor and hard to access. We needed to connect the wifi in the common area instead of our room.
clean, good location, friedly staff
no wifi, but there was an available desktop to any one to use
Roberto was very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable; quiet but very central location and very clean. Bravo!!
Wi-fi signal needs to be stronger.
Excellent location, close to the main station and within easy walking distance of many of the historic sites. Good value Trattoria next door and helpful and knowledgeable host.
location is near train station and good kitchen
Location Friendly staff Clean
Expensive to park nearby
This was a lucky find in central Florence. Close to all attractions. Thanks to Roberto, who booked us into the Uffizi and gave us many tips for our three days there. A very pleasant retreat now and then from the tourist crowds and the summer heat. Strongly recommended!
Nothing at all.
Albergo Bencidormi had everything we wanted: great location (close to the central station, market and Duomo), we had a quiet room, everything was nice clean, Roberto and Debbie were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Wi-fi connection could be better, but that is the only downside to the otherwise lovely hotel.
location, clean room!!!!
not that I didn't like it but I thought the check in lady could have been a bit more professional. I myself used to work at reception and I know how to behave with clients. The lady was ok but the check in was a bit uncomfortable as I felt like I was checking in to her house not a hotel-dormitory.
