The rooms were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is close to the center of Lucca, 1/2 mile from the train station, but has ample parking. We were traveling with a car, so free parking was a huge plus. Walls are a little thin, but we were there in November so it wasn't really busy or loud. The bed was a little bit hard, but we still slept well. |

Location is convinient - very close to old city, but outside walls - so has it's our parking (free). Very pleasant and helpfull staff. Breakfast - buffet with good choise and wide variety. Room price was reasonably reduced during low season. |

Airconditioning, good breakfast and very good location for people wanting to discover the historic centre of Lucca. After our complaint about the room (see below), we finally got another room, originally for three people, and as a bonus the hotel rental bikes we used during the day were free of charge. Contrary to the description on the website when making our reservation we were designated a room with a French bed (in Dutch: 'twijfelaar') instead of a double room with a standardsized double bed. The hotel staff told us that this had to do with an irregularity on the website which was being looked at to prevent this from happening again in the future. Despite our clear reservation we had to make some fuss to get another room. |

Simple, no nonsense hotel with comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our second visit and will certainly stay there again. Excellent parking. Highly recommended. |

Perfect hotel to stay with my grown-up daughter for 5 nts. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant at all times. Excellent service in all departments. Efficient dining room and fresh buffet. Very clean Hotel. Good bathrooms. Hotel bikes were in good condition and we loved having them to cycle in the Old City and on the Walls. Easy walk to station and good location. Info given on excellent Puccini Festival in Lucca. Transfer to Opera easily arranged. We hope to go back to this hotel. Sunshine and sunny smiles from staff! |

The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. there are bikes to rent so that you can enjoy a ride through the old city. The location is also good, especially of you come by car. The rooms could be more modern and better decorated |

Quiet, non-smoking room as requested, and excellent breakfast. Helpful reception staff who provided maps and information. Restaurant next door (part of hotel, but separate) was below average for food quality and above average for price. It would have been nice to have had an English menu. |

Adequate size room. Pillow-top covering on bed made it very comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet. On-site parking. Elevator. Bicycles available. Short walk to entrance to historic old city. Restaurant on premises. TV with channels in English. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internet available. Dogs in neighboring yard barked a lot. |
