Very friendly and accomodating staff. Extremely relaxed atmosphere, especially by the pool in the garden area. Room was comfortable and clean and had a great view overlooking the pool. Very quiet location, yet convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy walk from bus stop. It was easy to take day trip into Florence via sita bus. |

Great location and great staff, Rooms are small and had a dusty feeling, breakfast is poor, water was never hot enough, all together nice place but I did not feel I got value for money. |

The Albergo is a family run hotel. The people obviously care a great deal about their business and their clients. We were greeted upon arrival by Francesco. He knew immediately who we were and made us feel right at home. Great location - on the piazza - for good food and shopping. Greve is a wonderful small town with very friendly people. . |

Hotel location and the staff friendlyness. We found a warm welcome awaiting us and Francesco and David were the best of hosts.A good breakfast was offered and the hotel was kept very clean. I would thouroughly recomend this hotel and hope that I have the opportunity to visit again. Only the fact that if they did offer resaurant facilities in the evening. I am sure if they did it would be a great success |

Located at the Piazza (town square), but just far enough out of the way to have the feeling of a little less being in the midst of the action. We were fortunate in arriving there on the last day of the annual wine tasting festival. Great fun and party into the evening. Has a nice looking swimming pool which we did not have time to try, Too busy tasting Chianti wines. Basic accomodation, quite acceptable, kept clean. |

Loved the funny jokes of the italian owners! Very nice place, in the cuttest piazza Mateotti! Free parking, free internet, wonderfullll swimming pool and nice garden! Had to leave the day trips earlier so we could enjoy the rest of the afternoon in the pool! Everything very clean! |

A very nice hotel and well situated right on the Piazza. Not entirely quiet. People sensitive to church-bells ringing throughout the night will have to bring earplugs. |

Ideal place for a short stay in the heart of Cianti country. Visited Wine Museum and wine-tasting centre, enjoyed meals in excellent nearby restaurents and drive through countryside. |

The proximity to Firenze, Siena and all the Chianti region. The price is too high for the product presented. Rooms too small. Other guests arrived at midnight and woke up all the rooms, because you can hear everything. A old paper hand write saying No Credit Cards, because problems with the machine. Old trick to receive cash payments without receipt. |

Pool is great. Nice courtyard. Nice family atmosphere. Staff works hard. Nice to be on the piazza. Free parking. Decent breakfast served outside or inside. Fantastic location. Nice to have a little refigerator. Family room includes a hide-a-bed for the kids which could be updated. |

Enjoyed the pool and garden. Breakfast area very pleasant, looking out to the pool and garden. Breakfast had a generous selection. Great location to visit Florence and surrounding towns. Clean room. Our room overlooked the piazza, which was interesting. However, also over a bakers...you can hear the machine mixing the dough very early in the morning. Also the shop nextdoor setting up. There are shutters to close to try to block out the sound...then there is the clock striking...certainly added to the atmosphere. There is a sign when you check in, that their eftpos machine is 'waiting to be fixed'. I don't think it will ever be fixed. We had to pay cash. Pool had strong chlorination that hit you when you dived in. Refreshing though, and very clean. |

Excellent location, very friendly staff, good price. I would recommend this facility without reservation. Good restaurants within walking distance. Good prices of wine at the hotel. Slow to get in room refrigerator repaired. Double bed was actually two singles pushed together which made it uncomfortable in the middle. |

The location was very convenient, the large garden area with dining tables and pool were great (though pool a bit overchlorinated) and the breakfast was fantastic. One of the hosts detracted from our overall experience by making inappropriate jokes and not assisting with any help or advice on the local area which was disappointing given the limited time we had there |

Nice informal bar area (wine and beer) and great pool area for relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, and a more than adequate breakfast. No safe in the room for locking up valuables. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner and his staff are extremely helpful and polite. It is a lovely hotel with a great outside/pool area. Our room was great and it was airconditioned. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is great - in the heart of this quaint town in a charming 'piazza'. Great restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay there again. |

Francesco was a charming host who was anxious to help with advice and suggestions for his guests to really enjoy themselves. The hotel was very central with restaurants all around. The market is held in the square outside the hotel which does mean you can't park outside but there is parking just a short walk away. The room was fine and the bed comfortable but the shower was rather small. |

The room was comfortable, very clean. Good and varied breakfast (except juice). Good location to visit Chianti Noisy room (lift, voices, etc.), unpleasant welcome at the reception - but the other person on the second day was ok, lack of attention to the client (no advice, no information), the swimming pool does not seem to be opened in April (I guess only summer), the lobby is less "classy" than the rooms, and noisy. |
