Albergo Del Chianti    

Beliggenheten, kloss på La Piazza. Betjeningen var til tider i overkant "rufsete", men vennlig og service-innstilt.

Rommet var lite, dusj/bad enda mindre... Mennesker i XL-format ville hatt trøbbel i det trange dusjkabinettet. Generelt er jeg ikke glad i hotellrom som er teppebelagt.

Beste beliggenhet i Greve. På Torget. herlig uteplass, med frokost og basseng. Her kan man finne roen.

Skaffet privatdrosje til vingård. Altfor dyrt. Følte oss lurt. Skaff drosje selv.

Fint utgangspunkt for bilturer og til å utforske Chiantiområdets vakre natur. Mange supre restauranter I området. Røper ikke alle hemmeligheter om de beste og mest bortgjemte. Hotellet har fin beliggenhet I det gamle Greve med mange restauranter og flere gourmetbutikker. Et bra område for mat og vinelskere

Litt ungvinn adkomst og jeg var usikker på om jeg kunne kjøre inn I historiske sentrum på grunn av ztl (sona traffica limitato). Men det var greit da hotellet har korttidsparkering for av og pålessing. Parkering 300 m unna på stor gratis P-plass. Helt greit.

Excellent location, I had a fantastic view of the town square.

We loved the lobby. The owner has lots of 'wine memorabilia' -- it is very cozy and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The location is overlooking the piazza and is perfect for a stay -- many good restaurants, browsing, and wine tasting in the square.

The hallway in the adjacent building was very dark. The owner offered to change our room even before we knew how dar it was, but we opted for the larger room choice.

Our family consisting of 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 15 years stayed in Albergo del Chianti for a first time.This is a great hotel for a relaxing holiday is in a great location in Greve ,surrounded by restaurants and right on the main piazza .a few words about owners-great dudes with good sense of humor ....and the best breakfast we have had so far in Italy! We will definitely definitely definitely be going back! We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Walls were a llittle thin. We could hear clearly conversations next door

The hotel personal was extremly friendly! Any additional service like taxi, booking of a restaurant etc. were available very fast and properly!

It was a bit poor breakfast offer. But actually we were not able even observe the food after a real evening party!

Location, friendly and cooperative staff, garden and pool - even if weather does not allow usage

Poor sound insulation - every sound from corridor is heard...

The location was great right in the center of town. We arrived here by bus from Florence and it was only a two minute walk to the hotel from the bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had an overall warm and cosy atmosphere to it.

In the old town of Greve in Chianti.

The hotel is old and worn out. (Rooms, beds, bathroom appliances, AC, etc. ) they ask you to leave the room at 10:30. I understand that the "hotel rules" were designed this way, but I feel the almost universal time is 12:00. Depending on the resrvation status of the room even that can be extended. Regarding our room, since we were told we could extend our stay, I understand that there was no pressuring new reservation check-in

Excellent hotel right in the centre of Greve. Francesco is a great host--very friendly & funny. Our room was huge & overlooked the swimming pool. Breakfast was very good--plenty to choose from & with a toaster provided! Breakfast beside the pool was a plus. really good value for money here.

Very friendly atmosphere, perfect for visiting vineyards. Ideally located in centre of Greve. All staff are family and they make you very, very welcome and will advise if asked on anything!

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect to get around chianti. The breakfast was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and we can not wait to go back. The pool was relaxing as well.

Location it was close to the villa we had booked for the following week. It had a swimming pool

Excellent location in the heart of Chianti region. Perfect for sightseeing around Tuscany. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Wonderfully arranged pool area in the quiet garden, perfect relaxation. Fully recommended.

Very noisy air conditioning in the room. It's either sleeping or cooling... Breakfast could provide for more variety, however it's a pleasure to have it in the garden area.

The staff were outstanding friendly helpful and attentive. The swimming pool was fantastic after a long day sightseeing. Just walk out of town down the main street right to the end and there is a fantastic restaurant cant remember

There was nothing I didnt like at all if anyhting the hotel probably could do with a tidy up but this did not detract from our stay at all

My husband and I loved the hotel. It was a clean and comfortable hotel and the back patio and pool was absolutely beautiful. What we especially liked was the ower..Francesco. He was most helpful and anything we needed was accommodated. On our last day he even got up early in the morning before the hotel opened to see us off making us a cup of coffee for the long drive ahead. I will definetly go back again when i am blessed to be able to return to Greve in Chianti, in Tuscany.

The bathroom was smaller then we are used to and the bidet was in the way of the door opening fully.. but it was clean and the cleaning ladies were always friendly and helpful.

The location in the plaza couldn't have been closer. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly.

So annoying that you had to use a card, connected to your room key, to keep on power/ac. Your room wouldn't be cool when you came back after a long day. The pool closes at 7, so we never got to use it because we were touring around all day and by the time we came back it was closed - annoying. Parking not available at hotel but there is free parking a few blocks away - no big deal.

When we arrived at albergo del chianti we were greated by david,he promptly sorted where we should park our car, then showed us to our room, he had a good sense of humour as I had come with my daughter and fiance to attend a wedding. The room. From the information onthe website I had expected this to be a bedroom upstairs and a bedroom downstairs (3 adults sharing): we were all on the same floor. So a little tip check before booking that you have the room shown on the web. Anyway david quickly tried to correct this but there is only one room like this and it was taken. He straight away took us to a two bedroom annexe and asked us if we would like that instead. So we had the choice that or the original room I left it to my daughter and partner who both said the first as it had a lovely view of garden and swimming pool. You would not be dissapointed staying at this hotel, it family run, it is comfortable clean, fun & lovely breakfast. You feel that you belong and have everything you need, even an iron downstairs for those last minute details especially when you are going to a wedding, which we were. Just felt like home. David who I believe owns it is was always there, god knows when he rests, checking everyone is happy and always joking. The swimming pool and hotel was cleaned at least 2 times a day to my knowledge. Floors where done straight after breakfast and again later in the day. Swimming pool area fantastic and pool crystal clear. You would not be dissapointed to stay here it is good value for money. Thank you david and family for a truly lovely stay I shall come back again with my husband who couldn't come due to work commitments.

Just would have liked the mirror to be above the shelf in the bedroom as well as the hall,thats all

In the corner of Greve town square grate location. Hotel was typical tuscany style, lovely gardens with pool, staff were helpful and friendly enough. Continental breakfast is never quite my cup of tea but there was plenty of choice and its nice and fresh. Our room was fresh and well presented, the shower door was a bit ropey but trivial. I would recomend this hotel particularly for mature couples looking for a good base in Tuscany.
