Extremely nice and modern room, with all comforts. Great balcony with view at a lovely square. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Very centrally located on a picturesque square. Nice and spacious room with a very 'design' bathroom in the bedroom itself. Hotel has no restaurant and just a very small breakfast corner. Breakfast was OK.

Facing onto the square, one can expect quite a bit of noise from the bars and restaurants on it. Perhaps the fact that it was Italy's national holiday played a part in it.

Stayed for a business trip. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and individual, recommended.

Meals are breakfast only, no other services - not really a problem as dozens of restaurants in walking distance.

    The location is very good.

I asked to the hotel reception to call a taxi to go to Bari. A lady of reception told me the price was 65€. However, I had to pay 75€. In addition I had to share the taxi with somebody. I could not get off the taxi because I had no chose due to the train time. Taxi driver was too terrible and also bad attitude. Do not call a taxi from this hotel.

Great location in the historic center of Matera with a wonderful view from the balcony! Friendly and helpful staff, big rooms all in white with modern design and really fast WiFi. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

The bathroom has a very modern design, which is not always very comfortable. But this is not a problem at all!

Location is awesome - hotel stays on a beautiful mideval square. Designer hotel with spacious, modern and super stylish rooms. There is a small balcony as well, so you can enjoy the view of the square.

Breakfast was fair but not amazing. We were 'lucky' to stay in the hotel the only night when the city was celebrating its patron .. this meant tarantella dancing under our windows till 2am .. followed but extensive tolling of bells at 03.30am .. The bell tower is almost attached to the hotel. This meant a sleepless night and a rough morning. I would suggest avoid 1 - 2 July in Matera or stay away from the historic center.
