Too expensive for what you get! Staff was unfriendly and not very
helpful when asked for most things (E.G., local directions, bus
information, restaurant suggestions, printing boarding passes for return
flight, etc.). Wi-Fi coverage is a joke, as the hotel uses a third party
that is basically useless as one can never get on to use it. Also, too
many students stay at this hotel, which may contribute to the non-access
to Wi- Fi, since several students were always surfing the Internet
especially in the public areas. One also has to climb up at least 12-15
steps to get to the lobby of hotel, and then the elevator (lift) off
this floor can only accommodate one person with one bag otherwise it
does not operate.
The only thing we liked was the hotel's central location in a
small piazza or square located off Campo de Fiori. Although, it is
stated this is the oldest hotel still in use in Rome, there are less
expensive and better hotels close by, so one should look further to
find a better place.
