Perfect position. Very friendly and wonderfully helpful staff. Reasonable price. Lovely view onto a terrace.
The hotel was in a central location, where most things were within walking distance. The location seemed a bit of an oasis in a huge city. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with everything. Thank you for a delightful stay!
From this hotel you can walk easily to all of Rome's attraction. Campo di Fiori, The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colosseum, Spanish stairs, Trastevere and Vatican City . There are many restaurants for dinner in the area. Our room was at the end of the hall and thus wonderfully quiet.
The rooms were spartan with no coffee maker. The bathroom was very dated and the shower stall very small. Also, the amenities were basic and not replenished daily. The Wi-Fi was adequate but irritating that you needed to log on each time.
The location is excellent ,so close to Campo de Fiore and Piazza Navona .The roof terrace is nice to relax on .
More than 20 steeps steps up to reception .Staff did not help .Difficult with large suitcase .No bar fridge or room safe . Very basic room .
Great roof top terrace. Easy access to transport. Airport transport great. Clean and comfortable.
Being so central is a bit of street noise at night. Get quiet around 11pm. Starts up again around 8am. If possible request a room that is not street front. All in all not bad though.
We were looking for a charming, older and comforable small hotel in the vicinity of the Campo de Fiori, and Albergo Del Sole was everything we wanted. Our room, although small was quiet and led out to a pretty garden terrace, and our bathroom had a lovely view of Roman rooftops. It was also very quiet. Staff were helpful and, although breakfast was not served, there are numerous excellent restaurants in the immediate area, not to mention a very well stocked 'alimentari' right next door, and the daily market in the Campo de Fiori. We would certainly stay there again.
Really super hotel with lovely roof top terrace. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. All the sights in walking distance.
perfect location friendly atmosphere helpful staff
Location, right in the center Beds with good matrasses Reasonable airco Value for money
Constantly have to re-enter wifi code for access, annoying
Very well located in the heart of the city. The hotel has an onsite parking which is very convenient.
We had a room with a street view, it was very noisy until very late in the morning.
Just in the heart of the city.. Very good location.
the cleaning service was outstanding. They did a great job with what they had to work with.
The place was dingy. Beds were hard, wifi worked when it wanted to, and the front desk was not helpful at all. No help with bags (I had small kids and the elevator was on the 2nd floor). Then at check out, they charged us a 20 Euro "city tax" that they wanted paid in cash. I was dealing with my kids, so my husband paid it and told me on the way to the Airport. This charge was not on the quote or reservation. ***Shady***
The outdoor space is fantastic. We sat there every day catching up with family or having a picnic with food from the next door market and stores.
The room is a little small but tolerable.
the location, central, interesting, originality the colorful setting and interiors the comfort in the rooms, the people very gentile and helpful
the stairs besides the elevator the lack of warm commodity in the room
great location near piazza navona and the market of campo di fiori and a 20 minute walk to trastevere. Lively, safe neighborhood, with plenty of places for tasty and cheap things to eat (bakery, pizzerias). The hotel is nice and clean, the room was spacious. The stuff is very helpfull.
The desk staff was particularly helpful, and the out door terraces were nice. Great location!
Wi-fi connectivity was spotty and slow. It worked, but was a bit frustrating.
The place is certainly in a great location. The rooms wrap around a nice courtyard with a rooftop terrace. With the number of rooms the place is attractive to bigger groups staying so it can be quite noisy with people coming in.
no facilities to make a cup of tea in room or nearby
Top-located in the center of Rome, between Piazza Navona and Campo di fiori, in a quarter busy and full of life, yet comfortable and pittoresque.
Small rooms, very low comfort, no proper climatisation in hot summerdays. Comfort rather of a youth hostel; accordingly many young guests.
la cordialità e la disponibilità
niente da ridire
Location excellent small room clean .We walked to everything did not use busesCampo Di Fiori only 50 metres away.we had a great holiday
Would like a bar fridge not a mini fridge
Pietro is such a helpful and wonderful contact who always was so patient with all my questions!
Staff are helpful. Our airconditioner was not working and they got tradesmen on to fix it.
Not able to access wifi in rooms, only right next to reception on small lounge.
