The hotel is in a great central location, very clean and comfortable
The location is fantastic, close to Piazza Maggiore. Good transport links. Lovely independent hotel with friendly and helpful owner and staff. Comfortable and colourful room with safe. Good value
Could not get the wifi to connect me to the web, though I see other reviewers have not had same problem. Breakfast is basic.
Perfectly placed , friendly staff .
Décor and atmosphere excellent. Staff friendly and helpful
Went for breakfast at 9. There was little food left and nobody there to replace it.
Friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent.
Location of hotel is top. Interior very vintage style. Very nice and friendly service of the staff and housekeeping! ******* TOP
Wifi not available everywhere in the Hotel. The bed was somewhat hard!
The position of the hotel was excellent.
Breakfast was very basic and could definitely have been improved upon.
It could not be a better location, right in the market streets of Bologna, and yet very quiet: we had a room overlooking the street, yet we heard no noise from the market sellers downstairs. The room was minimally but tastefully decorated.
The only complaint would be about the shower: the shower enclosure was curved, so that you had very little room inside the shower, and the doors kept on opening, allowing all the water to pour out onto the floor. The shower head was scaled-up, which did not affect the flow of the shower, but did not look very appealing. Also, the shower gel given by the hotel came in a little paper sachet - not very generous, and not very easy to deal with when in a shower!
Very nice building, very nice staff, small rooms but clean, historic and calm. Couldn't be more central. Good price. Nice breakfast. Perfekt to explore the town.
location and the staff
lamp needed repair, and lighting in general not great in room
The situation is best to visit thé ils Town
narrow, not very comfy bed poor breakfast
Location Acquient style of the bulding
location of rooms within the building furniture
Walking distance to all the sights in the old center. Pleasant ambiance, attractive, charming. Breakfast was acceptable, not fabulous, but acceptable. Endless self-serve coffee was very pleasant. Pleasant staff, excellent brown Labrador. Taxi stand was about a six minute walk when it was time to head to the station.
Room was on the small side, but I'm not really complaining.
Great location in city center, and value for money ratio.
Quite small room with no table, very small bathroom/shower.
It was unfortunately a bit of a flying visit by the time we'd dropped the hire car off. (Never drive in the centre of Bologna - Nightmare) The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our brief stay, we were given a great recommendation for a lovely restaurant nearby which meant that our last meal in Italy was fantastic. The hotel had a lovely tradition feel to it with an amazing location down a historical, pedestrian street. We would definitely head back here for another visit one day.
Not much really, could have done with an extra pillow with a thicker duvet. Very minor points, a lovely hotel.
The location is amazing, couldn't be more convenient for the city centre. The room was comfortable and spacious - quiet too but we were at the back of the premises with a rooftop view. Excellent value for money - we would love to stay again.
This is being picky, the breakfast is fairly basic - croissants, yoghurt ... but it was really all we needed at that time in the morning, we were still full from all the many excellent lunches and dinners !
We liked the location, the hotel itself and the welcome. Staff very friendly
The powerful shower in the bath flooded; only one chair in the Junior suite - arm was broken. Noise - constant hum in hotel -kept us awake a long time.
The location outside a quiet street. When I walked out the door in the morning I was delighted by the florist right across the way, and the market of fresh veggies, and of course the fabulous deli. This is really a great location! And its near everything in the center. I was happy there was a fan provided in the room, as well as a small refrigerator. The room was quiet. The breakfast was really basic, akin to a Comfort Inn-style e.g. basic rolls, fruit, coffee, juice.
No AC and its warm in Bologna so if not for the fan, I would not have slept well.
Fantastic location in the heart of the old town, surrounded by local cheese, meat, fish and flower shops. The perfect place for a foodie stay!
The bathroom in our room had only a bath and hand held shower with no shower curtain but it was no big deal. The location was so good.
Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Large room with lots of character and lovely bathroom
Breakfast was old fashioned "continental" style. Coffee out of a machine, no eggs. Very poor for price paid.
- excellent situated in the old city; - only a few steps away from the most important sightseeings - restaurants, bars, shops with many delicacies in the closest neighbourhood - free Wi-Fi - nice, friendly staff
- the top location goes along with noisy weekend nights - annoying doorbell, initiated by a light barrier
Location was fabulous Staff were helpful Room was large and nicely decorated. We loved Chocco the dog.
Unfortunately the hotel ran out of breakfast options an hour before it was meant to finish. This was disappointing. We were not aware we could not reach the hotel by car and had a lot of difficulty working out where to park to unload luggage. This is something worth overcoming as the location was fabulous!
I liked the funky artwork and decor in general. Le Draperie is a totally charming place -- gracious staff, varied fresh breakfasts, individual rooms. Good, fast wi-fi, very helpful staff recommendations for dinner, nice noon check-out time. Positioned by the old fish-market AND modern Eataly and other fancy markets. Elevator from lobby to upper floors is nice. Price seemed reasonable for such a good location.
Steps up to the lobby. I always wish for screens on the windows in Europe -- I like to have the windows open at night, but worry about mosquitos...
