Hotel Suisse offers budget accommodation in a fantastic location right on Lake Como. Admire the lake view while enjoying regional cuisine at the elegant restaurant.
Score from 136 reviews Good
The Hotel Nuovo Miralago overlooks Lake Como in the heart of Bellagio, a 10-minute walk from the dock for boat trips across the lake. It features both rooms and apartments.
Score from 465 reviews Excellent
Surrounded by Lake Como, these apartments are in different locations in the historic centre of the Bellagio peninsula. Each is within a 10-minute walk of the Lido beach club and the Sporting Club.
Score from 101 reviews Wonderful
Enjoy fantastic lake views from your private balcony or garden at Borgo Le Terrazze. The suites and studios come with modern amenities.
Score from 554 reviews Wonderful
The women who own/run the business were really great. Very helpful very friendly. Its right next to a 1000yr old church. We liked to hear the church bells.
A few things could do with being replaced.
limited parking space
Tv didn't work Noisy bath fan Very tight parking
Very sweet Italian lady checked us in and helped us park in an incredibly tight entrance to the parking area. We were surprised we could make the turn. We liked the breakfast with good morning breads. We liked the staff.
The room was dated, walls were thin. There was a small balcony that overlooked the parking area and your neighbors were right there. Bellagio is very beautiful but you would not know it, if you spent time in the hotel. I would probably stay more out of town next time in a nicer facility.
Close to the Lake and central shopping area. Lovely choice of restaurants and shops, although geared towards the well to do, more than the budget holidaymaker. The rooms were clean and pleasant with small showers but lovely hot water. The beds were very comfortable
If you are a mature couple with heavy bags, there are four flights of stairs and no lifts. This is definitely ffor the fit and strong to carry suitcases to the rooms. No WiFi. Next to Bell Tower which can be a concern but it stops at 22:00.
Location الموقع فقط
Stuff very rude and impolite specially the old women sh is the woner I guess, bath shower was broken, she called us and ask to leave sharply on time of cheking out the she closed the phone تعامل مالكة المبنى والاستقبال سيء للغاية مروش الحمام مكسور وارضي فقط نافذة الحمام مطلة على الفناء الجانبي والستارة متوسطة ليست مقنعة لا يوجد مصعد
We stayed only one night with our teenage daughter. The hotel was well located in Bellagio, and the price was excellent for this city. Simple, adequate accommodations. Our room for three was a good size. Breakfast was excellent with meats, breads, pastries, and cereal. Good cafe (but it's Italy, so all the cafe is delicious!!).
Beds were quite firm and not all that comfortable. Maybe it was just the time of year (August) but we had trouble with mosquitos in the room--to stay cool, we needed to keep the windows open, but that let in the mosquitos. Quite a few bites on all of us in the morning. Also, there were several stay hairs in the tub (long dark hairs, but we are all blonde)--yuck! Tub is small, as expected in an older hotel in Europe.
The location is amazing. One is two footsteps from the lake. This place has a lot of potential because of the location, but alas, it seems the owners don't care much...
The breakfast was a joke too. Only day-old tarts and nothing healthy offered.
Very expensive for the things it offers!!
The location.Very close to the ferry pier.
The staff are not very helpful. The breakfast is not appealing. The room is very primitive. The bath tub is small with no shower curtain. Everytime after shower, the ground was wet. There is no lift in this hotel, so don't bring a heavy suitcase.
The location was perfect for a few days in Bellagio and the price reasonable considered that it's in the midle of a tourist centre. The staff was very gently and the place was like visiting your grandma. It was for us perfect with free parking while we explored the Lake of Como by the ferries.
We were content with everything considered the price
Location is great, though the bells can also be a bit too much at seven a.m.
Understand that it is recessionary period and this is a family hotel with no young and strong people with new ideas. Can still not understand the two stars, the linen and towels were so poor that even my mother (who never tthrows anytinhg away) has not such. And no cheese at breakfast in Italy ? One night is ok, but do not recommend this for longer staying. Not even the location can explain the price (comparing the other hotels we were staying in the lago area).
Very small bathtub. Not able to shower as no room to stand up. Beds uncomfortable and bedding was very old. Expensive for what we got. No WiFi. Very noisy. Church bells very very loud and always ringing.
Breakfast is meagre, like we are on rations. Don't be late, there may be nothing left. But the worst is the noise. I knew about the church bells from other reviews, but the noise at you hear from other guests is just way too much. The whole place echoes every time someone opens and closes the front door and their room door, let alone if they talk in the corridor. Don't expect a good nights sleep, here. Price is good for Bellagio, but as overall value for money it's poor considering the facilities.
Location is good for walking around the town.
Our bathroom seemed as though it was not cleaned after last guests. The hostess was angry that I asked that it be cleaned. She thought it was fine. But hair and soap scum is not acceptable to me. Then we found more hairs in the bed and asked for clean sheets. Owner kept grumbling in Italian the whole time! Towels were like sand paper. Pillows thin as pancakes.
Clean, basic hotel in an expensive town. Excellent for the budget traveller
One of the more inexpensive hotels in the area, and the place was very charming. Felt like we were staying at a relative's house. Decorations are homey and family friendly. Our bed had a comforter with a kitten & puppy print on it! We liked that the place seemed like a family-run business. The woman working at the front desk was very nice and spoke English.
It is an older building with very thin walls between rooms. The church bell tower is very nearby and clangs loudly and for a long time at 7:30 am.
Wonderful location. Quiet location and pleasant staff.
