We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Firenze very much! The location was fantastic! It was very clean. The receptionist Barbara was particularly helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Albergo Firenze! The only complaint we had was the shower doors needed some repair.

The hotel is in the center of the city. About 3 minutes walking to the duomo. The staff is very kind. Albergo firenze is an excellent choice at this hotel category (2 stars hotel).

Excellent location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very difficult to find. Also, I booked the hotel for 3 nights, not 6 (see below).

Location and friendliness of staff Needed a coat of paint, bathrooms old fashioned and dingy, lighting poor, no kettle/coffee team making facilities. Only 2 sachets of shower wash no other toiletries. Clean but because the hotel needs a refurb it felt tired and old and therefore a little dingy.

The location was great and the room was clean enough. The breakfast was pretty good for the price of the room. Very good price for being in the center of the city. The staff was not very cheerful or helpful. I asked for an extra pillow for 3 days and never got it. Also, our toilet did not flush and was never really fixed. The room is dark and outdated, but luxury is not expected at that price. Just the staff could be nicer and more accomodating. The bed is also very hard but clean.

The location was good for us. You could walk everywhere and there were plenty of places to eat. The room was comfortable. Good breakfast. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Major complaint was that the site did not explain that you cannot bring a car to the hotel. It is located in a zone that does not allow cars without paying a large fine. So we had to have the car parked which was very expensive 28e a night. It would also be nice if the hotel had mini fridges in the room.

It was very central and a few minutes walk from the Duomo. It was a comfortable hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Good value for money. The room wasn't very nice. Although it looked clean on one of the nights we found an adhesive bandage in one of the towels. Not many services or facilities are available, however I would still recommend it since it is good value for money, and it is so central. Although things could be improved, for the prices we paid, it was a comfortable stay.

The location is excellent. Very near to the museums around Florence. And actually within 15-20mins walk from sm Novella train station. There's free wifi too, but only at the lobby area. Breakfast is served until 10am.

Spacious and cozy. Staff was real friendly. Located in an area full of shops, so shopping was quite easy. Quite hard to find - buses may not reach, and information does not know where it is either.

An adequate place to spend a night or two. Polite and helpful personnel, clean rooms, didn't experience any disturbances (such as noise). The power outlets in the room wouldn't accept a standard European plug with thicker pins. Their "breakfast" doesn't deserve the name. And next time I would look for a place really near the train/bus station. Yes, it is only 10 min on foot, but if you have luggage, be prepared to pay about 15 euro for taxi each way.

Hotel Albergo was a clean, comfortable, pleasant place to stay in the very heart of Florence. This central location made it very easy to go and pop back into the hotel during the day but it made for a rather noisy night with all the street revelers. There was also a nightly organ concert across the street which got rather tiresome when it went on after 10 pm. But the bells of the churches were great to hear. The beds were not the most comfortable but okay for a few nights. The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was generous though some fresh fruit might have been nice too. But this was a European breakfast after all. A good place to stay in the centre of Florence at quite a reasonable price. Having a great soak in the deep bath was greatly appreciated! A bit noisy at night, beds not the most comfortable but not terrible, I've had worse.

Great location, right between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Good for the price and clean room and helpful staff. Beds were uncomfortable and Duomo church bells were loud and rang every 30 minutes in the morning starting very early.

Incredibly friendly staff, almost homely atmosphere. Only in the evening noisy because of the fun on the waterfront. On the terrace rooms no one has washed the floor. Poor breakfast

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location for seeing the city and is a short walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, and the train station. The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs. Our room was a bit dreary, but it was comfortable and met our needs. It is just not a luxury hotel, which was fine for us.

“The lounge fronts on the Piazza della Signoria on the third floor. We were able to watch all of the activity on the piazza and hear an opera from the windows. The rooms were on the side so it was quiet and away from the throngs of tourists. It is right nextdoor to the Ufffizi, a 5- minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, etc. Good brekfast; wonderfull service. Would definitely return. ” David, Yarmouthport |

“Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was kept in perfect order, very close to the centre of Florence (5 min walk from the Duomo). The room was small but quite adequate. By continental standards the breakfast was good. I understand the hotel was rated 2-star but in my opinion it should have been at least 3-star.” Richard, Jannali |
