Set on a side street just behind the cathedral, Hotel De Lanzi is near the shops and main monuments of the historic center of Florence. The simply furnished rooms have private bathrooms.

Experience a beautiful Florentine holiday, enjoying comfortable accommodations in a renovated property right in the heart of the city, close to the major landmarks. It's easy at Relais Hotel Centrale!...
Score from 791 reviews Excellent
Perfect central location in Florence, 15mins from train station with bags, and 2-5mins from Duomo, shopping, Uffezi, etc. Area felt safe, even if alone as a female. Friendly staff who got to know you after a couple of nights. Good size modern rooms, with plenty of light but with the most efficient black out curtains. Actually quite sound proofed to the outside - city noise was minimal. Hearing the bells from all sides, especially at 6pm. Amazing!!
Thin walls to the other rooms. Had to ask our neighbours to reduce noise levels and do the same ourselves.
some sounds from the street and the presence of mosquitoes at night if left open the bathroom window
The location of the hotel is excellent & the room is very clean. Roberto at the reception was very kind & helpful. Breakfast was quite generous with plenty of fresh pastries, yogurt & breakfast cereals. Good value for money.
Our first room was rather dull & plain with red tile floor although it was spacious & clean. Our second room on the 4th floor was a lot nicer altough it was smaller than the first one.
Location, location, location ... You are right in the middle with 5-7 mins to all major attractions. 3 european stars ... its clean, 2 small elevators(in our 2 days stay each was broken for day but another one working), ok breakfast. Again if you want to be close to major attractions and don't want to pay $$$$ - this hotel is for you and you don't care about wi-fi
wi-fi is a real, real drawback. Yes it is free, but it is limited to 30 users. So if you did not make to first 30 - you can't connect. We came at saturday second half of the day, tried to connect very late night and very early morning but was not able to. I was able to connect only Sunday after 4 pm when most people left.
Nice and clean room, great price/value, kind staff, in the very center of the City.
Don't go there by car, the hotel is in a walking street, parking around are expensive and not easy to reach.
Location is perfect.
Early check-out coincides with last breakfast.
We arrived after 6pm because of a flight delay. Even though I had called the Office of Albergo Firenze and informed them about the late arrival by early afternoon, they nonchalantly told me we had to book another room for that night as they could not organise the handing over of the key if we arrived late that evening. Check-in would then have to be the next day after 2pm. Regardless to say that we had to pay for that first night, too, even though there was no way for us to get into the apartment that day of our arrival. Also looking for an alternative hotel room had to be done hectically by us via phone from the airport - no alternative was provided or even recommended by the office of Albergo Firenze. So even though the apartment itself is beautiful and good value for money, I would not recommend to book it as flight delays etc. are an uncontrolloble yet probable risk which might you end up, like us, with no place to go in Firenze.
Everything! The most horrible hotel I've been to. Very loud neighborhood, very roud and not helping staff, bad breakfast, tiny tiny rooms, and I can go on. Would never come back and will not recommend
fantastic location, cleaness...
small bath, not variable breakfast (but coffee was great!)
Clean, great view of surrounding churches.
Bit noisy at night with people roaming on the streets.
Location was wonderful Close to train station and central Florence
Did not give fresh towels except after 2 days. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner
The location is in very center of the center, walking distance to all the attractions. Our room was very large.
The hotel staffs were helpful but did not seem to be very friendly to us. We dtayed there for three nights, but for two nights the WIFI did not work and the hotel staffs dido not know why.
Service & Staff
We stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean and quiet, the staff very helpful and the buffet breakfast good. The location is perfect, very central but on a side street and still less than 5 minutes walk from the duomo cathedral. We would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone.
Comfortable bed in a modern room Value for Money Nice English Speaking Staff Excellent central location-not too far from trains and shopping
Good clean room
City tax had to be paid in cash
Location is perfect, just 10-minute walk from the train station and surrounded by many tourist attractions and relics. 地点好，火车站只需10分钟步行，周围都是景点。
The speed of the internet is not stable.
I've actually stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions now. When I booked it last month I didn't even realize that I had stayed there last September as well until I started walking to the place. The hotel is located about a block from the Duomo right in the heart of Florence. It is about a 15 minute walk away from the train station. There is nothing particularly spectacular about the place. Just a place to lay your head at night that is clean and affordable. The included breakfast is also nothing to write home about, through there is plenty of fresh fruit. Both times that I have stayed at the hotel there were large groups of students staying there, so if that’s something you don't want to be around I would look elsewhere.
The internet is kind of a pain in the neck since you have to constantly enter a code to log on.
Free wifi, location close to city center
No A/C in room
I had an antique necklace taken from my room. It was extremely valuable and did not notice its absence until the night before I left. I alerted Reception the next morning and left details and address to follow up. A week later I wrote to the Manager asking if the Chambermaids had been questioned. He has never replied. We were travelling with a toddler and Reception would not even give us hot water for his bottle. Made us go to a café. I could never recommend this hotel , but if you do stay, lock up your valuables!!
love this location, it's very convenient.
Staff are friendly and location is good.
Location was very good! Air-condition was a life-saver :P
Bathroom and shower was quite small... Hotel was not so modern.
Great location . Local building works disturbed us & woke us early . Staff were courteous & noise pollution was out of their control .
Location, Front desk staff...
Windows are not insulated to cut down the City Noise (Church Bells at odd hours & many times a day, Street noise till late hours, etc)
