Nice country village feel to the hotel.

Stairs were narrow and bit awkward with luggage.

Very friendly helpful staff. Good Price. Great Pizza in restaurant. Good size room.Good shower. Relaxing atmosphere. Shuttle transfer to and from Airport 20 miles away for €20 per car. 2 travelling €10 each, great value.

Family atmosphere. Location on the way to Italian Lake Laggo Magiorre. Convenient going-in or going-out to Malpensa Airport.

The problem of very poor coverage of mobile telephony network.

We selected this hotel because of its proximity to Malpensa Airport, from which we had an early flight out the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised with the ambience of the place. This is a very charming, family-operated hotel above a pizzeria in a picturesque small town. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable, the food in the restaurant was excellent. We loved it. If we return to the area, we would stay there again.

Very helpful staff, pleasant accommodation despite exterior appearances, very convenient for Malpensa airport in a quiet setting - no anonymous airport hotel. Very good value

If experiencing life with the locals in the countryside is what you look for then step behind the outer walls and enter the unique world of the Pizzeria Albergo Fontana. It is old - it is Italy and we loved it. It is run by Mamma, Corrado and Carola a wonderful italian family that made us feel so welcome and who we miss. The rooms are well kept, clean, colourful, comfortable and functional. The food in their pizzeria was amazing not to mention Ange's scalloppine limone so good and it is no surprise that it becomes the local social hub in the evenings. Breakfast simply coffee & croissant bread with cheese.The hotel is also situated close to Malpensa Airport where it was very easy to leave our car in a secure car park with transfers to the airport and pick up when we returned. Of course we extended our stay at Albergo Fontana on our return to relax and enjoy the family and lovely food again before we continued our touring through Europe. A mention too for the fabulous little Bar/Caffe Nationale just up the street run by Giovanni & Caroline (Irish) a great couple who love to show you a good time and could not have been more helpful. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our journey.

Easy access to Milan airport (half an hour by car) but no noise from it! The building layout is pleasing: it resembles a small old coaching inn, with a central courtyard with pillars, and with patio dining tables in the arcades. Our room had access to the balcony above the arcade. The balcony had places to sit, and was delightfully informal, with tomorrow's ironing in a basket. The restaurant was busy with local families eating, but service was efficient. We both had the pizzas, which were good. We liked the small-town atmosphere too, and the easy parking in the public car park at the back. Nice clean room and bathroom.

The bedroom had some restaurant noise until 11pm, but it wasn't really a problem as we did not have an early flight! A little street noise in the night because we had the window open, but it is not a busy street. Breakfast was a bit basic.

Great family run business that made you feel really welcome. Excellent food [best pizza chef around] and ambience, large room and comfortable bed.We would definitly stay here again.

Great location and great place to stay. We were made very welcome by the very accomodating staff and it really is a decent place to stay and relax. Very decent rooms and decent showers. There were six of us traveling on motorbikes and it was great to have secure parking for the bikes. Pizza's and beer were good as well

It was a small, family run hotel. Close to Milan Malpensa airport but in a small village away from the bustle. Very pleasant owners who looked after us well. Good food in the restaurant on the ground floor. Room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was fine.

First impression wasn't great as this hotel is very basic. We chose it because it was relatively close to the airport after a long haul flight but it wasn't a bad choice in the end. Great staff, comfortable bed, and it is also an excellent pizzeria. Dinner was great and excellent value. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

Staff gentilissimo,camere nuove,pizza ottima e prezzi stracciati!Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che se dovessimo ritornare a Varallo Pombia,pernotteremo di nuovo lì!Lo consigliamo sicuramente!

albergo tipico ben tenuto camere pulite, mangiare ottimo, il personale gentilissimo ,unica pecca è il riscaldamento delle camere per noi che abbiamo soggiornato a gennaio ,era veramente basso ,e non c'era l'acqua calda

Per prima cosa la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale.... pizza ottima... camera molto pulita e una colazione sostanziosa!! Ci ritornerò sicuramente...

Невероятни хора. Трудолюбиви с подход към нуждите на туристите. За храната, коятао приготвят нямам достойно определение, тя е божествена, а виното ..... също!!!!!!!!!!!! Ще предложим на наши приятели да посетят този хотел.

Az épület külseje alapján a szobák szépek, tiszták, komfortosak.

A reggeli a vártnál sokkal gyengébb színvonalú volt. Kávé mellé csak előre csomagolt "műanyagot" szolgáltak fel, valamint fejenként egy mini croissant. Azt gondolom, hogy egy igazi vidéki fogadó, ahol a szobát reggelivel kínálják, valamivel nagyobb teret szentelhetne a reggeli minőségére és mennyiségére. A szálláshely értékelésén ez igen komoly mínuszt jelentett számomra.

Nette Unterkunft, direkt mit Pizzeria im Haus (lecker!), freundliche Inhaber/in, urgemütlich. Es war schön. Wir kommen wieder.
