The receptionist spoke very good English. Before our arrival, she called and asked if we needed any kind of pick-up service, which she then organised. She also arranged our return. In the hotel reception, there was always fresh fruit available for the guests. The surroundings of the hotel are marvellous, especially along the "Rielke-Path". Only one key per room reduced the flexibility (reception not manned during day). Breakfast price on web site did not correspond with real price (though real price was clearly projected in Hotel reception). |

Friendly, comfortable, warm, we could say family atmosphere, clean room, coquettish lobby, excelent home cooked breackfast (each day a "surprise" delicious cake), good position to visit Trieste area (don't miss Miramar Castle), the owner very attentive to us. Improving the windows with net for mosquitos would be very useful |

I liked the staff and friendly atmosphere. Also, I liked its location in the town. This hotel is good only for short term because the walls are very thin and the rooms are small and crowded. |

complimentry Bottle of wine nice touch Difficult to find, obstructed landings on steep stairs, no on site staff, could not check in @ 4pm, had to wait 1/2 hour while manager traveled from Trieste. mouldy shower curtain, internet did not work,if on going problem need to remove service from site. Seems "Have room / leave money" not a professionally run Hotel. |

Excellent facilities, big bed, clean beautiful room and bathroom, awesome host - nice small 8 bed hotel (B&B) with the most scrumptious home cooked breakfast in the morning. Wish we had more time to stay here. |

Nice clean new room with plenty of space the location - tried accessing info on webiste and was unable to access it - location was appauling, hard to find and not very nice area. Hotel staff did not answer our knocking and doorbell ringing at 3:45 when we arrived but said they were there, had to wait around for service. Once she arrived she was very helpful though |

The staff were charming and very helpfull and knowledgeable about the area, restaurants etc. Instructions for finding the hotel could be better, the sign in the centre of the piazza is ambiguous. |
