Hotel was great location in town, staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! Parking on site was great.
It stays right in the entrance of the old town. It can be a bit stressful to drive to this hotel but it is just for a short way and you will be in the old town. They have some parking spots right in front of the hotel, which was great. The hotel is a very old property that was transformed into this hotel. It is quite interesting and nice to be in such a place. You feel transported back in time. So, as you can imagine, no elevator. The bedroom was very big, and the bathroom basic but functional. It is a quiet hotel even though it is close to the main street. The breakfast could be a little better.
Friendly services, atmospheric rooms (not modernized but for us a plus), perfect location, free parking, good breakfast
A lovely, family atmospheric hotel, runned by very nice people. Comfortable, large room with antique furniture, nice shower and balcony with beautiful view. Large breakfast with fresh orange juice. Free parking in front of the hotel. Our Xmas was very special thanks to this hotel and the owners/staff.
Walking everywhere, even the hills! The road around the base was quiet and gave you a picturesque view of the countryside. Lovely shops, but pricey! Villa breakfast was great!
Villa needs a lift! Four floors with luggage can be a deterrent to most. Driving throughout the old section with little or no signs! Had to get the police to show us the way out!
View, good breakfast
Towels like cardboard ,furniture needs update . Plumber needs to fix shower handles. In the end we still enjoyed the old world Charm.
location, city, wine, room, pretty much loved everything about the hotel and and town.
Nothing not to like
Location was perfect, Staff was amazing!
Great location, historic building with lots of character. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
right at the entrance of the city
no air condition, no lift, very basic, a bit old fashioned
Forget the phoney 5 Star "establishments" if you want traditional Italian hospitality, friendly service in a grand old building situated just inside the walls of this fascinating hill town then this is IT!
-Location was very good. -People friendly. They give packing authorization for free. -Breakfast was ok. -Decoration was very antique.
Beautiful breakfast, friendly staff and the view from our balcony was true Tusscan.
Not having a kettle in the room
very good location, very italian staff
Like staying in an old fashioned European palatial house - though all the facilities work fine - and the breakfast is excellent, friendly staff - well positioned to explore Montepulciano - with handy parking outside the property -
Close to restaurants etc
Difficulty with parking. Hotel looked tired.
The location was great, the staff extremely helpful and courteous. This hotel is located just inside the stoned walls so it is easy to get in and out of Montepulciano- which can be of concern if you were further in. There is also a couple of good restaurants within the block.
Nothing to complain about.
The hotel was close to everything in the city, clean, and provided a great breakfast.
The breakfast was spectacularly good! Best I've had throughout Italy! When you consider the price I would not look at any other hotel.
obliging staff, varied breakfast, large room, availabe near parking slot
It was a unique experience to stay at this very old building. Staff was great, excellent location. We received special permit to park within the city walls. Very helpful staff. Family run family feeling. Keep it up.
Room with balcony and panoramic views. Good location for exploring the historic old town.
The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. We found a great new restaurant nearby called ristorante Bourgogne buip. We highly recommend.
The staff didn't speak English at all and wasn't able to offer assistance. Be prepared to Carry your luggage up many flors,
The most welcoming but relaxed family hotel. We have been to Montepulciano several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Fabulous, authentic, personable, relaxed and wonderful views
