everything, the place, the location, the garden, the kindness of the owners... everything was so great!
The family owners were welcoming and professional, and had great recommendations for town. Location was excellent - healthy walk or easy drive - and the grounds were beautiful. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast was delicious.
This was a little hidden treasure and surpassed expectations. The owners took care of every little detail with such love and pride. The room was beautiful with a lovely view of the garden. There was a little living room which was shared between the adjoining room with tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water - a really lovely spot (also air conditioned). The breakfast was one of the best I've had, everything fresh and of excellent quality, including the coffee. The garden was beautiful and a pleasure to just sit and enjoy. I would definitively recommend this little treasure.
All round beautiful..relacing atmosphere with beautiful garden. Within walking distance from the city. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made our stay a pleasant experience. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Montepulciano!
Nothing, we found everything good.
Good location, just a short walk into town which made for easy trips into the city. Great family staff that made us feel at home and had great recomendations for dinner and the like. Would definetly stay here again and recommend to others.
All was well, no complaints at all. Great experience..
Wonderful and personal welcome from the owner and family who could not have been more helpful and charming. Lovely room and great breakfast with fruit from the garden. Great location. Rural feel but ten minutes walk from the town centre. Everything delightful about our stay and a personal farewell from the family with a complimentary bottle of wine. You have our personal recommendation and can book with confidence.
Beautifully situated, easy walk to Montepulciano with access to a lift. The whole experience was completely delightful.
Quality of staff, rooms, gardens
Albergo Il Rondo was beautiful. The rooms, the gardens - everything was lovely. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and our request for eggs was honored! Loved the cappuccino, too. Staff was very helpful in planning our daily outings and gave great advice on local restaurants, as well.
No complaints at all about Il Rondo. The town of Montepulciano, however, was a bit boring. However, great location for day trips to other nearby towns and villages.
We liked everything. Some would not like the location as it's quite a bit downhill from Montepulciano. But the garden setting is lovely, and There's an elevator that helps with the walk up to town.
I stayed here with my friends for my pre wedding trip. The environment is fabulous with exquisitely devotation. The owner and his family is very nice and helpful. They introduced us very nice restaurants and gave me a bottle of wine as present when we checked out. What a sweet surprise! We love this hotel very much and really want to stay longer.
A perfect location for touring town and area. A lovely hotel environment, very friendly and helpful owners/ staff, super breakfasts, clean comfortable accommodations, parking---overall excellent value. We stayed a week and could not have been more satisfied.
excellent on all scores. would recommend it to anyone
Countryside feeling yet very close to the old town
Nice place, very clean and well-kept. The staff is polite.
It´s a bit clearaudient, especially when you are near the reception. Nevertheless, we can recommend it to everyone.
The hotel and its garden are very charming. The owners are really helpful.
Friendly owner, welcoming coffee and cookies on arrival. Good, clean, quiet, comfortable bedroom and bathroom, easy parking, great location close to city entrance, good breakfast with plenty of selection. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is close to the bus station, it is 10-min of a very unpleasant walk from the historic city entrance & 25 min from the city center. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you travel by bus.
the place was amazing, the staff friendly and professional & the breakfast homemade and very tasty.
Beautiful property with very friendly staff
Family staff was great. Breakfast excellent. Room quiet, comfortable and very pretty. Surrounding area beautiful for our morning run. Short walk to town. Free parking.
A bit hard to find, but we managed with help from the locals. Pillows and bed stiff, but this we found everywhere in Italy.
Very nice property in the outskirts or Montepulciano. Friendly staff, beautifully appointed room and confortable bathroom and public spaces. Good breakfast. Remember, Montepulciano is an uphill town, so take it easy.
No restaurants in the vicinity. Since the property is a little away from the door of the city, in what seems a rural road with little light, it is better to take your car and try your luck in some of the parkings by the city walls. Especially if it rains. In October, there was no problem in doing this.
I liked the fact that the hotel is family run and consequently we had a lot of personal attention
Cute, walking distance from the city, very warm reception, make you fell part of the family. Great breakfast.
The setting was wonderful - walking distance to the gate of Montepulciano. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had two rooms, so were given "a family suite" that had a shared common room with two bedrooms and baths off of each side. The rooms themselves were not fancy, but comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good, although not as elaborate as other places we stayed on the trip. The inn keepers were very helpful in recommending places to eat in Montepulciano and towns and wineries to visit.
Although quite clean, the decor was not my style - a bit old fashioned, not modern. Our closet smelled musty, as well.
