This charming, family-run hotel, which dates back to 1800, has been offering warm hospitality in the heart of the historic center of Florence for 40 years.

The elderly lady who owns the place doesn't understand privacy. She came into the room to clean when we had told her it was not necessary but she was really snopping
Location is good. Staff does their job well, trying to keep everything clean.
There are 2 shared showers. One with a bath, another on - just a hole in the floor. The last one is terrible.
Parking place in the same building (however it costs 20 euro per day).
Hotelrooms for human beeings mustn't have frosted glass with some paint on it and with a very small openable part. No climatisation, you can not open the entire window, only 2/3 of A3 format, so i dont recommend. I've been told, that I must leave the room keys in the lobby on the wall, but usuallny nobody is in the lobby, so everybody leaving next door can take the keys and enter in your room when youre out. It's not safe, every time i did take everything with me to the center (passports, money, ipads, cellphone etc......)
Helpful staff, very clean and tidy. as a single female traveler i found Albergo Losanna absolutely met my needs. I will stay here again.
no air con (but adequate fan provided.)
Good wifi Next to a park Friendly and very helpful staff
Mosquitos Lack of a fridge or kitchen facilities
Location is good and near the center.
Price was ok, wifi was good
Granny at the reception can't speak english, but she explains everything well in showing
Parking near by
There were lot of Mosquitos and noise.
Cheap, good WiFi, bed sheets clean.
Lots of mosquitoes, bugs. The towels are like table cloths. No toiletteries. Bathrooms shared and not well kept. Terrible place for the money played. This place is not by any means a hotel at best a prison like hostel. Go ahead and book if you like to get bitten by mosquitoes and bugs on your vacations.
Everything was good.
Because the shower and toilet are not in the room,so it's not quite conscience
Wifi, clean bathrooms, nice rooms, location us quite good
There were not nets on windows, it is a problem in the evening, mascitos are everywhere
The owner is very helpful and nice. Clean but my OCD friend doesnt like it.
The wifi is not good when i used it on the bed. Noisy because it near to the main road.
The signora was lovely and helpful. Facilities clean - it isn't the ritz but its good value. There is one flight of stairs-no lift. Good safety in the building and quite area for Florence!
wifi is ok, the location is not bad.
the owner is scary there, for me, its not a hotel, more like live with a old strange woman who have to control everything you do there, for sure Im not going back there.
Dirty floor. Poor language abilities.
I like the attention. They were very kind and the place was very clean.
It is an old building. The walls are not thick so you could listen the people talking outside on the corridor
The room was not clean and the furniture was that of a poor quality. The lock on the door was loose and that gave us a sense of insecurity in terms of leaving our stuff while away. We would not suggest this hotel to anyone, unless they have low standards in terms of quality of services and cleanliness, or they just want to crash on a place at night, without staying there for more than that.
The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk from the historical city center, there is a parking nearby (20€ per day). You have a nice room and common bathroom. The staff is friendly. I think there is no towels so better bring your own.
We liked the cleanliness and the Wi-Fi quality. It is 15/20 minutes walking from all the major places of Firenze. And we went to the Fiorentina Stadium by walk also (10 minutes max) to see a football game. That's a good point. But that's it!
Comfort is limited. We supposed to have a double bed.. we had two single beds brought together. The ratio price / quality is quite bad. You need to leave the keys at the entrance when you are going out...
No breakfast, to expensive for what you get
elder lovely lady at the reception desk, although she doesn't speak English we fell in love with her
I just checked in at the hotel at night, stayed for the night and checked out next day early in the morning. The hostess, although she could not speak English, was very helpful in guiding me to the Accademia, where I had a reservation early morning. She drew the best route on a map and gave the map to me. This map also helped me navigate through the city when my phone's battery died.
Low price, Clean rooms, wonderful host (although she did not know english)
Great location. People were very helpful. Very clean.
The price was ok and quite a big room.
The location wasn't great. There was no wi-fi a bit noisy with traffic. No window to look out. Receptionist didn't speak English. A lot of stairs in and out of pension. No tv not many toiletries in bathroom and no mirror in bedroom.
