We stayed at Albergo Marechiaro for only one night and it was quite OK. The conditions were spartan, but acceptable if you're not going to spend all the time in the hotel. The only bad thing was the absence of Wi-Fi.

ΤHe room was very clean. New furniture. The area was a bit rough. The entrance doesn't do the room justice.

The people of the staff were really helpful. The bathroom did not have a bath, so, the water of the shower dropped directly in the bathroom floor.

It is the worst hotel during all my16-day travel. It cold, not clean, the wardrobe is so shabby, and the Tv doesn't work at all.The staff member did nothing to help, just making excuse to exlpain. It is so ridiculous. I will never recommend anybody to stay there. nothing good.

Very close to the Central railway station Termini which is a big plus for those who travel by train. Very budget, good only for one night in between trips.

The only positive thing about the hotel is its location. The hotel was old and it was not clean. There is not a seperate place for shower, but they had put a shower faucet at the top of toilet and you have to take shower in the small toilet cabin and everything becomes wet. Rooms are not clean and they put small old pieces of cloth having grey color instead of towel. Hotel staff is not very rude but they don't pay attention to you and insist to take city tax as soon as you arrive. I don't think they provide a real breakfast so I did not use this option. Roomas are very dark and the hotel is overrated.

I had to stay in Rome for two days only and I decided to spend the night there because of the location (close to the Termini Station: buses, metro, trains). I think was the best choice I've made given the price. The room was clean and has it all the basic needs. The staff were very friendly specially the guy that stays during the night and the argentinian. They were the best and very helpful. Another good thing is that you can stay as late as you want. It won't be any problem. Just give them a call so they will be aware of the situation. Other thing is that is located near to bars, restaurants, internet places, etc. Got breakfast for 2 euros: orange juice and a croissant (that they call cornetto). Really good and on time. I don't drink coffee, but if you want it, it cost 2,5 euro. Check out is at 11am but I had to leave to the airport at 1pm so they let me leave my luggage with them without charging because it was only 2 hours more. But after 2pm the charged 10 euros per luggage I guess or per room. Something like that. The room was a little small. For me it was ok as I am 5'3" but maybe a taller or bigger person than me, would find it uncomfortable. The station area doesn't look good but I never felt unsafe.

The location is simply perfect. 2 min from Termini. Termini is everytning in Rome. You can easy to go everywhere by train, by bus, by metro. The room are simple, but when you travel alone and you need just to have nice clean bed, this place will be perfect. No shower in the room, but the prise is compensated this small nuanse
