We really enjoyed the helpful staff and that they spoke English and the close proximity to the railway station. It was very quiet and nice little tables out the front where you could sit and have a wine etc. The rooms were very small but very clean and I would stay there again happily. Especially when you spend all day and evening doing tourist things and only need to shower and sleep. |

Albergo Marin was very close to the Plaza Roma and train station. It was clean and decent for the price. However some of the hotel staff doesn't speak much English. The quad room was a double bed, single bed and a roll away bed. |

It is clean, comfortable and well located. It's within walking distance from the station and Piazzale Roma where buses depart to get to the airport.Walking distance to the center is about 20 min. The breakfast is simple but satisfactory. A small bar/café open until late in the evening can be found just in the same street. Very handy if you want to have something to eat or to drink. |

This hotel is right off the Grand Canal and is so easy to find! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I can't comment on the breakfast because we left before it was served. I thought that the listing said the hotel had air conditioning. Our room definitely didn't and the mosquitoes can get pretty bad in Venice, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you go in the summer. |

Hotels in Venice are generally very expensive. However, Albergo Marin fits our requirements for something affordable and near the train station. It is located in a quiet street, which you may miss when you search for it on your first day. Breakfast is simple but served with a smile. Staff is warm and friendly. |

Nice clean and cosy room and bathroom. The train and bus station and water taxi are just a 5 minutes walk away. Located in a quiet street. Free wireless internet connection available. OK breakfast. Value for money. The absence of airconditioning can make it hot in the summer months. Lucky there is a big fan on the ceiling. |
