Big room, really nice. Great location, near the old centre of the town. Private garage.
Not a lot. Well, the receptionist was polite and helpful. That's about it.
We were on a stop-over on our way back, so only for one night. Thanks goodness. Our room was bare, with one cold light in the ceiling and no windows! The free wifi didn't work (no signal). We left the room only to come back to sleep. Oh, and Palermo is just plain awful.
Location in centre of town. Reception staff helpful and spoke good English. Reasonable range for breakfast.
Beds too hard. 2 Windows into 2 different light wells. Noisy early in the morning. Mould in bathroom, long term staining in toilet. Noisy air-con. Overall impression was that they had done some refurbishment on the cheap and it lacked adequate management. Expensive and tight underground car park part of which, perhaps half, was being used by builders and cement mixer.
Secure parking, well appointed rooms. Central, convenient, lively area near restaurants. Quiet.
Average breakfast. Bar area dull. Difficult to find, needs a prominent sign outside. Parking a bit cramped.
Very simple breakfast in a rather unkind atmosphere, coffee machine instead of barista Rooms are not that comfortable The first room I got smelled smoky and had a really bad view (dark patio), at least they changed my room
20 min walk to Stazione Centrale and immediate to areas of interest, safe place at night. Other rooms appeared to be getting a makeover during our stay-this did not disturb us as out all day.
Unfriendly staff, soft bed, weak shower and room overlooking walls with dripping air conditioning units.
Location, elevator, parking garage
Everything else: Dingy corridors, claustrophobic room, toilet seat falling off, wifi NOT working except in lounge....
central location, fairly good breakfast, professional and fairly kind staff, sufficiently large reception floor enabling to read book and having some rest.
looking better on foto, than actually
Breakfast & noise
good location private and safe but non free parking place breakfast (Cannoli)
central location but noting than that
breakfast is poor the pictures from the website is not what you get....the room is o.k but not more than that no light from outside beacuse the "view" was to another building so it was dark
We arrived at 9.30pm and were leaving first thing in the morning. Great location to visit Teatro Massimo and the Cathedral lit up at night. Also, a short walk to our hire car pick up point.
Wifi is limited to the lobby.
room and hall design most of personal speak english good room service is good and not annoying (you can always ask to clean you room later) safe uses code instead of key instead of disadvantages (especcialy with lack of sunlight in room) hotel brought positive emotions for me and my girfriend
Internet connection problems main spot in hall works well but individual spots on floors establish connections but do not provide Internet connection humidity on floors (room is okay if you use conditioner) lack of sun in room (room #272 faces wall and you can see some sun light only from ~11:00 to ~14:00) safe is not attached to anything and can be stolen with all your belongings (room 272)
Very clean and in a great location. Staff was kind and helpful although that not all of them speaking English.
WiFi was terrible in the room. Also the last night of our stay we had a problem with the parking. We returned at the hotel at night (not too late) and the reception told us that there was not free space for the car. I mentioned them that we chose the hotel just because of the parking and if they had not enough space they should allow reservations. Anyway there was nothing that could be done and we forced to leave the car on the street.
It is a tree-star hotel with very basic facilities. Large room, though. With toileteries.
...it is advisable to bring it from home. If you need to drink some water in the room you have to use the only glass (disposable) from the bathroom. There is one chair in the double room, the TV screen is too small raported to the size of the room.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast included a variety of tasty salty and sweet flavours. There was a parking space at the hotel with additional cost
Most of the staff was not polite enough due to the fact that we were not speaking italian. We had a problem with the air condition the day before we leave.
The room was huge and also the bed. The staff was polite and the breakfast correct. Only the private parking was quite expensive and without lifter.
Paolo at front desk amazing! Location excellent! Helpful staff good selection at breakfast
Showers are tiny! So tiny in fact that I changed rooms! Yet the 1st time I stayed the room was superb! When I returned it went down hill! Some rooms need care and attention
The location was perfect, near the city center and you can go anywhere by foot! The internet was free! The room was pretty comfortable.
It is quite large hotel, has a spacious lobby. Almost all main attractions reachable by walking. Airport bus and bus to Modello available in few 100s of meters away, at Politeama square. The area around teatro Massimo and Politeama is very alive, including at night, many food and bars options around. There is also a quite large market near McDonalds restaurant opposite the Castelnuovo square. Two nice eating options located next to hotel and many more around. The hotel is located in a smaller street, so no noise that can disturb your sleep.
Try to avoid this property, mostly because of terrible manager and staff. Staff was the most arrogant you can imagine. They try to act very nice and polite, but if you have a problem with room or facilities, then you are in trouble. The manager (probably the owner) was only interested to hide the problems, not to solve it. Every single day the cleaning staff wanted to clean the room quite early (around 10.30am), even making pressure for you to leave the room. They hesitated if you ask them to do it later, hoping you will tell them to skip your room that day. Wifi was NOT functioning in the room. They have one router on each floor and it can not cover all the rooms. The first 5 days they ignored the problem and did nothing (also did not offer to change rooms because "we do not have another free room adequate to yours and we are not sure where the wifi signal is good"). When I complained to Booking.com, I had several loud discussions with them, they even wrote to booking.com that there is no problem at all. They claimed I was the only one complaining, while the lobby was full with people with their laptops trying to connect. Also, they claimed they checked the Wifi in my room and that it was working, but did not want to check in my presence. And I had the problem with all 3 devices we were having. The last day (after 6 days being there) they secretly moved the router 5 meters from my room, but I am sure that other quests at the other side of the floor no longer had signal. Thinking that we do not understand Italian, they talked right in front of us "Just ignore them, anyway they are leaving tomorrow.". No breakfast included - they asked 8 EU for breakfast, which is too much compared to what you can get for that money just few steps from the hotel. Quite hard walk from the Central station (if you arrive by train). If you arrive by plane, get down at Politeama, not at central station. The hotel bar was not working in the middle of the season.
very simple good location breakfast very poor
