Albergo Ottocento  

The hotel was well maintained. The staff was professional, efficient, friendly, and helpful. Our room was nicely appointed, very clean, and comfortable and common areas were meticulously maintained. In addition, the restaurant served a nice complimentary breakfast and the dinner menu was both good and moderately price. Overall the hotel was quiet and accommodating. It's location provided easy access to all points of interest in central Rome. There was a lot to like about this hotel. One last plus: the internet connectivity was very reliable.

There were no negatives of any consequence. If I had to find something to criticize, I could only say that the elevator was a little small, but it accommodated our suitcases without a problem. I would return to this hotel anytime.

The staff is great, especially Simona. Staff is mostly friendly, cooperative, concerned with tourists' requests, and supplied us with good recommendations and advises. The hotel rooms are very clean and beautiful. The bed is excellent. The location is great. Breakfast is very reasonable and the dinning room's staff was very attentive and willing to respond to our requests.

In the Booking.com site it was written the hotel has air-conditioning. It is good for nothing if they do not turn it on, which they did not. We had to sleep with open windows, but were bothered by the city noises and slept badly.

we are 2 couple, we been where 4 nights. excellent location.200 meterers from metro station.(barberini) .very quiet hotel. very clean room. helpful staff .good breakfast.the dinning room become at night a resturant(we eat once and it was very nice and fair price)

the only thing that i can say that is no facilites to make a hot drink in the room. but i have to say that any time i want i got from the bar(near the reception a hot water from the esspresso machine for no charge. we stay in first floor so it was ok for us.

The staff and location could not be better. We enjoyed our stay with no problems. We would recommend to anyone traveling to Rome.

The Ottocento is a decent value option for the location, close to Piazza de Spagna, Fontana de Trevi and Barberini. The accommodations are not overly fancy, but they are very good for the price. The staff are helpful, and the rooms are well appointed even though they are, not surprisingly, small. If you are looking for a decent hotel in a good central location, this is a great option.

Very nice hotel, clean and beautiful. The only problem we had was the desk clerks seemed very rude. Not sure if it was because we were Americans? I should just say, no service with a smile, very business like. All in all, breakfast was very good and the wait staff was very friendly and courteous. Beautiful city!!

Poor service from staff, told us no irons in room because Italian laws do not permit them. In the morning workman started working with power drills in next room at 8 in morning, hotel initially said it was in next building. Next day works started again at s
