Staff were really helpful
Restaurant was expensive.
Staff, location, comfort, service - everything excellent, exceptional. Very nice restaurant on the roof. We stayed 8 days and definitely can feel all superior hotel service.
Nothing, small thing - not in place breakfast box if you have to leave early for excursion, but in this case coffee is available, so no negative issues
Friendly staff just perfect in every way will defo be coming back enjoyed our break so much made special by you thank you x
The concierge (front desk) was very friendly and helpful at giving us advice on everything from dinner locations to shopping to transport etc. The room was value for money and the location was walking distance to many attractions.
Noise at night
Young lady at reception the day we arrived was a little rude. Seemed very cold. Elevator was minuscule!! Rooms were tiny as well. Very basic breakfast and not much choice at all. It was ok.
Not enough breakfast choice. Small rooms and tiny elevator.
Poros service, terrible elevador and wifi. Staff did not care much on anything.
The room was really nice! Beautiful bathroom! Rooftop cafe was charming! Breakfast was nice! Staff was helpful and very nice!
No ability to bring in outside drinks or snacks.
Beds were comfortable, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. Very close walk to the Spanish steps
No television stations in English
The Albergo Ottocento is a short walk from the Bernini Metro station. It's close to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. It has a lovely rooftop restaurant. It's a small, but elegant hotel and is reasonably priced for its location. Our room was well air conditioned and comfortable.
Perfect location really close to all the sites furthest is Colloeseum which is about 30mins max walking. Super helpful and friendly staff
Bed is quite hard, but then again we didn't spend time in it as we up an about
Location and breakfast
The shower blocked and the floor felt slimy.
This was a cute lodge in the countryside, it's exactly what we were looking for. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The shower was great, had lovely pressure and the rooms were a big size
The only thing I didn't like was it didn't have wifi!! If it has this, it would have been perfect.
breakfast was excellent location great receptionist very professional prompt service when required
restaurant lovely but too expensive for what you got room a bit cramped tv channels too limited unless you where fluent in italian
The superior room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has a very good location.
The WiFi, although free, was unfortunatly not very stable. But this is the only (minor) complaint we have.
Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. I forgot my glasses in the hotel after checking out and they arranged to send them to me. Location is also very convenient.
Lovely, attentive staff in a great location. Quaint rooms & calming atmosphere
Noisy air con system (but once the room cooled down was able to keep cool for a few hours over night); bijou rooms but well decorated.
This hotel is in a great location, close to the metro and for walking to all major sites. Room was comfortable and clean. Made for an enjoyable weekend break.
poor internet connection
Great staff. Comfy bed and good location. Elevator in building to help getting to the higher floors without hauling luggage up the stairs.
Air conditioning was weak.
The hotel is located in a quiet side street with a few restaurants close by if you are too tired to go back into the main tourist area in the evening. A few minutes walk from the Spanish steps in one direction. The staff were very polite. The buffet breakfast had a sufficient cold selection but the hot selection looked a bit dubious.
No airport shuttle (they proposed a car for €50 each way). No tea/coffee facilities in the room. TV channels in English were CNN and SKY news - in this day and age, this is a disgrace. The room was rather small and sparce, hardly any cupboard space. The reception area was cold and lacking in any kind of ambiance - no TV or anything to keep one occupied if you had a few hours to kill. I reserved the room several months ago through e-booking and paid quite a substantial rate, so I was annoyed to watch the price go down one month before my arrival date, when I phoned to ask for the new rate, I was told I would have to cancel and re-book it at the cheaper rate - which I chose not to do in case the room was no longer available. I think this is a bad policy and the rate should be adjusted in favour of the client. As a result, I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. Pity.
Elegant hotel and comfortable room walking distance to the Piazza Barberini and top of the Spanish steps.
No view but didn't matter to us. Could have been just the room.
The staff were excellent. Very clean.
Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Helped with the printing of Vatican tickets, arrangement of final departure to airport and all around wonderful to interact with. Albergo is perfectly situated at the middle of comfortable walks to the main attractions - Pantheon, Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and Spanish Steps, Roman Forum and Colosseo. Less than a minute from the metro to get to the Vatican. Perfect all around.
