I had to leave too soon.
Albergo Pensione Riviera Hotel was a very lucky find. It was recommended by a friends-of-a-friend so we really knew nothing about it. Our room (#60) was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. TWO terraces were part of the room. The air conditioning, even in September, was welcome. Breakfast every morning was just right--not American-style, but European. This meant that corneti, cappuccino, fruit, juices, some ham and cheese sufficed. The highlights were the managers, Gaetano and his brother Umberto. They were invaluable in dealing with Alitalia about my lost luggage. And they always had a minute to chat, make a reservation or recommendation, etc. I greatly enjoyed my time at Hotel Riviera and recommend it above all others if you're vacationing in Maiori.
