What a mess! how could you rent a flat on a disco!!!! impossible to sleep before 2:00 AM. when you speak with the director, it's not a problem, it's just the regular life in town center! so, it's definitevly too expensive for a room where it's impossible to sleep! One detail more : you have to paid 5 euros/bag if you come before you can have your room! so, forget this adress! forget this hotel!
Basic but good hotel with friendly staff at the reception. Perfect location.
Unfortunately, not so friendly staff serving breakfast.
Very welcoming and also helpful
It's central location to historic centre. Excellent breakfast and would recommend hotel.
Road from Piazza Verdi to hotel was untidy and scruffy. Ground floor bedroom Boheme bathroom smelled unpleasantly of drains unless windows were left open which caused student noise and road cleaner noise to disturb sleep. Would recommend other travellers to insist on upstairs rooms.
Close to city centre, the breakfast was ok
The area around the hotel was too dirty smelling urine and too noisy especially during the weekend
- standard of rooms - polite staff - location in the center - noisy neighborhood, but soundproof room - daily room service - tasty breakfast - bike rental - clean room
- noisy neighborhood full of students - dirty streets
Its 2 star grade is misleading. It has all the facilities of higher rated hotels with, additionally, friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the hotel is smart and clean. Good breakfast. Good value.
The street outside is bit scruffy, but that's not important. Don't be put off by the crowds of students around, doing their thing. It's part of a lively city.
In a good position in centre of Bologna. Near University and vibrant area. Good access to all the sites and in a quiet back street. Breakfast excellent and was the room and facilities.
The access road was scruffy and had people sitting in doorways blocking the pathway
All is as advertised, it being the location, the amenities and the condition of the rooms. The included breakfast is truly lush... Authorized street parking was instantly arranged, right by the front door and cleared with the restricted traffic control (can get expensive if not...)
The hotel should advise the guests about their deluxe double rooms being at street level, facing such as well.
Problems with finding it. Lots of one way streets. Unclear description in web. quite an adventure...
Clean friendly good location near to centre
Some undesirables nearby but it is like that in the city.
This is one of the best hotel I have ever been in Bologna. I don't know why it is that little star rated but I sencerely recommen this hotel to every person who visit Bologna Perfect big and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Perfect location. Perfect cleanliness
Loved the suite especially the shower! Bed was very comfortable, had a great night sleep. It was hard to even leave the room to go out since it was so nice.
Since it's in the heart of a campus it was a bit noisy at night.
In the third floor there was quite strong internet connection. Its location is very central and within the historical center of the city. Walking distance to all of the seesighting (due torri, central train station, neptune fountain etc.) Our room and bathroom was pretty large. The breakfast was nice.
Our room was in the attic and the only window was on the roof. It was not a big problem however we preferred to be informed about it before the reservation. Because the hotel location is just behind the university area, it is quite noisy at night. Within the three days we didn't see any tourist information center in the city. That's why I recommend to the hotel to supply a detailed city map to their clients. (They gave only a printed A4.)
Albeit a bit noisy (due to proximity to the university), the location was quite perfect to explore the beautiful city. Regarding italian standards, breakfast was quite appealing!
The should definitely reconsider their cleaning products, the smell is hard to bear. The walls seem to be made of paper, one could hear nearly everything.
Old town, university feeling
Quite noicy street, small lane but the hotel is next to a bar. Of course not a big problem if you are shouting and singing in streets all night
Very poor sleep on the weekends due to nightclub next to the hotel. We will not stay there again.
Location Aircon Bathroom was very nice
It didn't bother my friend and I but our room faced the street and because it is a student city it was very loud all night but if noise doesn't bother you its fine
Central location and breakfast
The room was fine and clean. We came early (10AM) and that was no problem. The guy at the desk knows which rooms guests are in and hands you your key without you having to ask, even if he is busy with other guests.
This is a super noisy neighborhood, so unless you love to hear non-stop solo from a guy on a electric guitar on a nearby square for hours and hours... You can close the windows, but mid summer, the fan in the room will not keep you fresh. Noise from the rooms next to us was loud, nothing you can do. Breakfast itself and service at breakfast were unpleasant, not to mention the Nescafe coffee. Checkout is 10AM, but you can store your bags. The 'deposit' was 5 euro per bag, though they won't return your 'deposit'.
We arrive on the morning and make our baggage in one baggage room, because not on the check in time, this is ok,but why we must pay 5 Euro one pax for our baggage?
Breakfast wasn't great.
The room was big. Nice location.
Very noisy because it's near the university and ther's party all the time. I couldnt sleep.
-excellent location close to the university area -clean and spacious room
-loud music late at night coming from nearby bars -asked for a fee for storing my suitcase for a few hours after I had checked out in the morning -limited and weird selection of foreign channels on the tv -the room and bathroom were big but lacking small tables or stools to put things on.
Good location, clean, good breakfast
Very noisy street, I arrived a few hours before check-in time, but I got wi-fi password only after chick-in
