Albergo San Martino

A charming small hotel well located inside the walls. It has a little outdoor covered area for relaxing during the day and for eating breakfast. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

It was difficult to find the first time. Its entrance is in a quiet alley

The hotel is in a quiet street in a beautiful and welcoming city, around the corner from one of Italy's most unique cathedrals. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our dog was welcomed as well.

The room suited our needs perfectly. The hotel was very convenient for getting to the train station whilst still being within the walls of the old town.

It was a bit noisy at night which didn't particularly bother us but would bother some people.

As an English visitor, not knowing the city or having much experience driving in small medieval streets, it was just slightly difficult to find the hotel. Although I had your directions, when you see the size of the streets you do feel that you should not really be driving along them! Hard to know what to do about that but possibly a few words of encorgaement about the nature of the streets within the directions would have helped me. A photo of San Pietro gate would also have helped as the signage for the gates is not clear.

We have been travelling a lot, but never have we encountered such a charming, centrally located, design like hotel, with state of the art rooms and outstanding service. Great breakfast with home made pies.

I really enjoyed the decor of the bedroom and the bathroom was modern and fresh.Very good surprise.

It's not specific to this hotel but the qualityof the fruit juice were desapointing during our stay in Italy/

The staff was very helpful and polite the rooms were clean the night porter was alway obliging and helpful

Well located, nice and comfortable little hotel in the centre of the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Good beds, furniture selected with taste, new bathroom is high standard. The town-centre is full with quality shops, and there are plenty restaurants in the vicinity what offer excellent Tuscany food. Hotel staff will advice everybody on shops and restaurants eagerly.

I did not like the idea to leave after only one night, i would rather stay for another week. I will definitely spend one of my coming holidays in this hotel and recommend to others too.
