The friendly female receptionist. The size of the room. Cleanliness. The location. The uncompetent male receptionist / glorified night porter - who gave me no / the wrong information and made me nearly miss my flight. The heating was off at times and it was freezing cold. The room didn't have a safe. The kitsch chandellier. It felt too much like a youth hostel in times - we had an extra bed in the room. |

Nice staff, tidy rooms, 10 minuts walk from S. Marco Plaza, climate, in my opinion that are most important advantages of this hotel aditional plus is free wifi witch was not mentioned in the descritpion of the hotel |

The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart). Our towels were changed daily and our maid even folded our pjs on our pillows! :) It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The doors were thin and almost all room doors opened onto the same area. That said, we did not really hear anything in the other rooms (and the hotel was fully booked). |

The hotel was in a very good location. The staff were friendly and helpful and although basic, as expected, the room was very big (we were given a family room at a double rate). The hotel and room was very clean and the bathroom was excellent. Beyond our expectations for a one star. |
