2 minutes walk to the Campo.
There was no one at the front desk when you needed them: the Staff was divided between Tre Donzelle and a next door hotel. We had to go out of the hotel to the next hotel to ask for bath towels and pillows. Wifi not always working. This is really a "bare bones" hotel.
- excellent location - helpful and kind staff - hotel with old tradition - free WiFi - clean
- was a bit cold
The friendly staff helped us with directiibs and advice for the best restaurants. Exceptional value for the money. The perfect budget hotel for Siena.
Excellent place, near evething and almost in the CAMPIO & nice staff
No wi-fi Weak heating
This room was spartan, but clean and felt safe. It was exactly as we expected. It was all about location for us as well as budget. We were well satisfied.
Significant amount of street noise. Some serious parties extended way into the night!
The Internet was too bad in our room also before November the rooms were really cold.
Right in the centre. Good bed, nice room.
It is a bit noisy - because the window is not soundproof and there are people passing on the street yelling all night long. Also the door to the hallway isn't soundproof either so any whispers in the corridors echoed their way into the room. Bring earplugs.
the worst staffs, old and dirty room. no air conditioner and fans.
This was a great hotel just steps off the piazza in Siena. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.
Breakfast room was crowded and loud. Good breakfast though.
I've stayed here more than once, it's a really nice place with very friendly helpful staff. It's simple but comfortable, that's what's great about it, and location right in the centre, down a quiet little side street. Definitely recommend and very reasonably priced too.
No complaints at all
Proximity to everything, great breakfast, obliging staff, gave us a spot in area to relax
On Friday night, Sept 12, we were kept awake by loud singing in the streets, accompanied by drumming, and then by the ring of church bells (41 times during one bell-ringing sequence). We were told that this was part of a sports celebration. This is not the hotel's fault, but those seeking lodging should make sure they are not close to Il Campo when celebrations occur.
The location is just off Il Campo which is the town center. The breakfast was very good. A great selection of coffees. The staff was very nice.
Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, very close to main square. Highly recommended.
Location, few steps form the main square
The place was ok, but nothing special, quite basic in every aspect.
Staff is very friendly, the room is clean and good locality.
We'd a sleepless night during our stay there. bells ringing, people singing and beating drums until 12am!
Only few minutes walk from the plaza campo. Nice friendly staff Comfortable bed
Outside was too noisy I couldnt sleep well because of loud music outside
Everything was close, staff was kind, room was clean.
No elevator, room could be a little bigger.
Location was great, right in the center. Bed comfy. Nice people.
Basic room but sweet. The location is great if you want to be a step from the main square...
...but it brings NOISE NOISE NOISE! Bad sound isolation + noise during the night and street cleaners at 6:30am and we haven't slept during the whole stay. Hope you will have more luck! I also didn't like the staff - they have never answered my emails, the girl gave us really bad recommendations (for coffee bars) and a man was very unpleasant when we said if we could pay another day or when we check-out since we didn't know payment is upon arrival. Again, when we paid he wanted to charge more, by mistake and a mistake is not a problem - the problem is lack of apology and again rude attitude. A small refrigerator wouldn't be a bad idea in the middle of summer and cleaned drain in shared bathroom.
- the price - the location - the staff was always helpful
- no elevator - old furniture
Location, originality, integration in the environement.
missing air conditioning
Location and staff. Was clean and spacious
Location to Compo and shopping was great.
"Street parking" is not as simple as it sounds. Once you find the hotel and get your car there you can only drop off luggage then you must find the approved location to park. Via car Finding the hotel was very difficult, especially via the hertz rental car GPS as it does not comprehend the city and their streets. If you are driving I recommend parking near their taxi area's then taking a taxi to the hotel.
