Absolutely stunning hotel...a perfect peaceful island escape.

    Decor a little dated .

Location. And there are a number of very good restaurants on the island. Suggestion: buy the two day pass including Lake Maggiori Express to Lake Lucerne. The cost is 32 euros plus 10 to explore the next day. If you have not done Isola Bella, do not miss it. If you have done Bella be sure to do Isola Magre

Pretty much there wasn't much. TV? Didn't notice the absense until day 3.

    The location is wonderful.

The noise until very late, due to a party in the restaurant. A real shame in a place that is likely to attract people in search of silence.

The location which we thought was the best of the Island. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great view and easy to access from Stresa

beautiful room overlooking the lake with the most stunning view. Excellent Italian breakfast with wonderful cafe latte :)

the hotel was perfect, however the restaurant was a bit "fancy" with wedding style decor, however the terrace is lovely and simple, just a shame the weather was not good enough to eat outdoors which I would have preferred

Awesome place! Even though it was cloudy fell in love with this little gem!

My boyfriend didn't like the fact there was no shower screen and holder. I had a great relaxing bath so was no issue to me

Location, atmosphere, the true Italian style and grace; the views from the rooms are unique; the restaurant is excellent

The rooms are a bit too expensive for what they offer; they are clean, but airco would be good; having had to walk in torrential rain from the pier to the hotel - and being appropriately drenched -, we were greeted with a "can we have your passports, please", to which we replied that we would now rather have a towel to dry up. The tone then became more hospitable, and I could even convince the owner to help us with the luggage (two flights of stairs up, no elevator).

    Stunning location Lovely room

Arrived in the room to find the air conditioning broken so had to use a fan which wasn't that effective. No hot water, reported it, and although it did come on given time, no one bothered to let me know when I could expect it to be available. Drinks waiter at in the restaurant was very attentive and friendly but all other staff were not very welcoming and showed a lack of interest in us as guests.

Fantastic setting on an island - water around and easy swimming, and when the tourists go home in the evening you have the place to yourself. The restaurant was an unexpected find: a beautiful setting and our best meal in Italy on this trip.

    We liked everything
