Good breakfast - good variety and breakfast room. Staff was helpful. Hotel is within walking distance to train station and bus stops, which made transportation very easy. Had internet access (minimal charge). Hotel is on a street near the bus depot and all buses use this street to begin their routes. Lots of bus noise, but we slept okay with ear plugs. Room was hot (especially after showers) and had no windows. We were there in September and were told that it was not hot enough to turn on the air conditioning for all the rooms. |

The staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The garden presented a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I would have loved a lift to take me to my room. Climbing the stairs after a long day was quite an effort. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, good location a couple of minutes walk from the central station and city center, nicely situated in a villa with garden. Little noise from traffic in spite of the central location. Nice and clean room and bathroom. 1. No wireless internet connection, a simple one would be (very) easy to set up in the lobby and maybe the garden. 2. No english-language channels on TV. 3. There's no elevator. |

The atmosphere of the place was old-world charm, an old family home converted into a very comfortable city hotel. There was the added advantage of a delightful, small garden surrounding the house, which was conveniently close to the centre of Florence, without being too close. A comfortable walk along the Arno took 15 minutes to the very heart of Florence. |

This is a super place! The staff were all very kind, welcoming and friendly. There was a lovely garden full of azaleas, with seating, where you could eat breakfast among the flowers. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. They have obviously tried to cater for all tastes and nationalities. The rooms had some antique furniture and were very comfortable. The visitors book was full of praise from people all around the world. It is only a short walk to the centre of Florence.Il migliore! |

It wasn't too far from the train station and a small breakfast buffet was included in the price. My room smelled like mothballs. The room was pretty ugly, but very clean. The bed was too mushy and soft. |

Really good value and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Garden lovely area to sit quietly in the shade on a hot day. Style of hotel was traditional and very Italian. Could do with some maintenance in places but not a major issue. |

The breakfats is good, with many options. The sheets were clean and they changed it every day. They are generous with the towels and the little things that they put in the bathroom. The staff of the hotel is very kind ans they always try of helping. In the room there was an unpleasant and hard smell of dampness, maybe caused by the old carpet. We went in summer, with temperatures around 32o, and it was impossible to take a fresh bath in the three days that we stay there. There was a problem with the shower and the water was always very very hot. |

The location is good, not far from the train station, but a little bit far from the city center. The hotel, the bedroom, the bathroom, the breakfast room, and the garden are very lovely. The staffs are also friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but it's ok. |

The hotel is situated near the station (10 minutes walk at the most) so is perfect for someone traveling with the train. Clean spacious rooms with character and with oversized bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be taken to the garden. An elevator would be nice if you live in the second floor, but the hotel is an old villa so the lack of an elevator can be understood. Although, when we arrived, the hotel staff was very polite to carry our bags. |

The breakfast was very nice:rolls, bread, cereal, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cheese, sliced meat, fruit, tea/coffee. AC worked great, it is an older hotel but clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful, wide staircase. wasn't a problem for us, but no lift. Staff did take our bags up for us and I am sure would have brought them down for us too at check out had we asked. |

We loved our stay at this unusual hotel. A lovely place, not the Hilton ,but romantic indeed. Not to mention the garden.... The staff was very nice and helpful. It was definitely worth the money. We would absolutely stay here again. |
