Staff excellent/great location/good value

Needs refurbishing as decor etc tired

Good location within easy walk of the centre of Volterra. Also conveninet for Pisa Airport which is why we have stayed here several times. The ppol is nice with good views.

The hotel is in an excellent location with a great view of the Tuscan hillside. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff was efficient, friendly, and willing to help with directions, restaurant reservations, etc.

Everything!!! We actually felt like part of the various families that operate the villa. This was our third extended stay at the villa so we are obviously quite happy as repeat customers. Our first visit was 10 years ago on our honeymoon. Our second visit was in 2005 during the Springtime with our youngest daughter. This visit was in order to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The location is amazing with only a short drive to Firenze, Siene, Pisa, Cecina etc. We highly recommend staying at Albergo Villa Nencini while visiting the Tuscans in Italy.

Friendly & Helpful Staff

Air Conditioning in the bedrooms would be an extra benefit for really hot days (and nights)

we spent 3 enjoyable nights here in mid june. location of hotel is great-just a short walk to the wall entrance to Volterra. We found the staff pleasant and helpful and hotel has nice family feel. Our room had a balcony with lovely view over the hills and there is a large swimming pool in well maintained gardens which we had to ourselves.Volterra was quiet compared to previous visit in august. It has lots of good restaurants and shops and well worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel for location and price.

Location is really perfect, it is very close to the old town. It's close to one of the main road, so very good location for going out of Volterra for sightseeing. Breakfest was not bad.

I thought internet is free of charge when I booked this hotel. At reception I was informed that it is 5 euro for two hours! Day later another guy at reception told us 8 euro for 2 hours! For this price of the room internet should be free of charge! I don't need two hours to check weather forecast! Besides that I would invest some money in bathroom. It was clean, but it was pretty old.

The room with a patio, the view of the countryside, the friendly staff, the breakfast, and the ambience were very enjoyable. The short walk up hill to town made this villa preferable to staying in Volterra.

Do banheiro, não tem chuveiro, somente banheira sem box ou cortina e ao invés de toalhas dão panos para se enxugar

Mi è piaciuto l'albergo, la camera era grande, il servizio era ottimo. Direi un ottimo albergo.

Удачное расположение у стены города, учитывая его маленькие размеры по пешеходным меркам. Хорошый вид на окресности из отеля.

Учитывая что мы посетили отель в зимнее время, в середине декабря, в номере было холодно. В особенности холодным был матрац кровати, так что даже к утру он не прогрелся. Завтрак был очень бедным, даже по итальянским меркам, одно название. Отделка, включая ванную, достаточно изношенная.

personale gentile, ottima posizione

La struttura è molto accogliente, la fontana prima dell' ingresso è carina, i mobili degli spazi comuni sono di un bel legno, la pulizia delle camere è perfetta, io avevo la camere 32 che ha un bel balcone con una splendida vista sulla piscina e sulle colline toscane, rapporto qualità/prezzo giutsto

La struttura è fortemente sconsigliata per chi viaggia con bambini piccoli, c'è una salita davvera ripida per arrivare alle mura, quasi impossibile da fare con un passeggino, la distanza da Piazza dei Priori è più dei 500 metri che ti dicono alla Reception, la colazione è molto modesta certamente non da 3 stelle inoltre a novembre viene servita al bar in un ambiente davvero freddo, un po' di riscaldamento sarebbe opportuno

Auberge très bien située avec une vue magnifique sur la Toscane. Chambre plus grande que la normale en Europe et avec balcon SVP. Stationnement gratuit et déjeuner complet. Pour visiter la ville de Volterra et les environs, c'est l'endroit rêvé. C'est définitivement un endroit à recommander, qualité prix, exceptionnel.

Der Pool, der Garten und die Aussicht.

Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze. Da das Hotel ziemlich gut belegt war, mußte ich entweder weit vom Hotel entfernt parken, oder warten bis auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen vor dem Hotel etwas frei wurde. Auf dem Hotelgelände selbst durften nur "Bevorzugte" oder die dort auch wohnenden Besitzer parken. Zimmer mit Balkon/Terasse gab es nur für Urlauber, die dort länger gebucht hatten. Der Kaffee war fürchterlich.

Splendida posizione e bella piscina.

Peccato manchi l'aria condizionata e ad agosto era decisamente caldo.

Staff molto gentile, buona posizione, buona colazione, struttura signorile.

Mancanza dell'aria condizionata in agosto e finestre senza zanzariere. Chiusura del ristorante alle 21.00 (anche se abbiamo potuto cenare lo stesso).

La colazione non è adeguata.
