If you are into fantastically located hotels which offer everything you need without the frills and spills, this is the place for You. Old fashioned charm, respectful and courteous service and clean room with a fantastic view, all for about 45 euros a night (sharing a room). How can you go wrong?
Location, breakfast, design, cleanness, view, price
Attitude of some employees, not free wi-fi, no service on Sunday night (01:30-06:30)
Location.Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast.
Having to pay for Wi-Fi.Mattress a bit hard. Inconvenient shower (no place to put anything,no non slip mat.
Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Great location to downtown.
Parking was problem and when we got ticket on vehicle before we could put parking pass on windshield hotel staff said they would contact correct agency to have it removed but we still got amount of ticket charged to our card. Frustrating.
great location, just a stone's throw from Main Square (Piazza Maggiore), 24h reception
breakfast could be better (since the price was quite expensive - trade fair period), wifi is not excellent
Good location, good breakfasts, quiet, friendly personnel.
Unreasonably elevated prices in times of exhibits which I inadvertantly happened to coincide with - the regular price - 66 euros for night which in itself is high for a tiny, basic one-bed, one-person room - went up to 92 euros per night without any additional services offered. And even for that price you do not get internet access - you have to pay extra (10 euros for a week) and you get a very slow and unreliable access. And as a final surprise, at check-out, you are asked to pay a tourist tax which is apparently also not included in the 92-euro-per-night outrage. Lessons learned: avoid special events in Bologna, ask about the tax when reserving the room and do not count on good internet access.
Location Breakfast buffet Staff Friendliness
I cannot think of anything negative. Value for money is really excellent. This is not a five star hotel but for the money is really GREAT value.
Location was great for seeing Bologna on foot. Our room was very large and well equipped. WiFi was in fact free for up to an hour. Breakfast was pretty good.
Tricky to drive to by car, but no more so than any large city. Parking was conveniently close, but cost 9 euros a day extra.
The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful with tips for our stay, and making sure we knew how to get there.
Excellent position for visiting the square and shops. We felt very safe walking back to the hotel at night, it's situated on a side street with a heavy locked door at night. The selection of cakes at breakfast was excellent also good selection of tea and coffes
My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. I found the buffet breakfast perfectly adequate with plenty to choose from. The somewhat unusual WiFi arrangements weren't a problem. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.
Friendly, helpful staff. Plain & unpretentious. Excellent breakfasts. Quiet yet central location. Walking distance of major sights, a variety of eating places & shops. Easy 20 minute walk to railway station. Close to bus stops & to airport shuttle. Just what we wanted.
The centrality, the cheap room, no noise pollution from outside so very quiet, great black-out curtains. Nice stars on ceiling!
Only getting 1 hour free wifi; breakfast was mostly cakes and biscuits but also tinned fruit or unripe fresh fruit. Not many Healthy choices.
cleaning:only 4 times they clean my room and i was there for 2 weeks and more!! also the bathroom wasn't in my room, was outside, in the hall, eventhought the price was very very hight there wasn't comfort!
Great atmosphere; welcoming and relaxing.
Staff, very helpful Good buffet breakfast Although maybe in need of updating, very clean. Great central location for exploring the city, although beware a 20 minute walk to the station. Hotel exactly as described.
Very small shower in single room. This is an observation not a critisism as this was highlighted before I booked.
Traveling with our 90 yr old mother, safety, comfort and location critical. It was close enough to walk from train station, close to piazza, and some good restaurants across the street (saracena). Highly recommend this hotel for value. Breakfast was excellent and just down the street from oldest bakery in bologna.
Terrible wifi, they charge for it(welcome to italy!) and the access is spotty and frustrating. Front desk personnel gets easily frustrated with questions, and gave incorrect information about taxis back to hotel from sanctuary lucca so we got stranded and fortunately a nice person called a taxi for us. Mom is 90 years old and getting stuck up top of the hill with no way back after being told taxis are available up there was very stressful.
Hotel muito bem localizado, quarto confortável, café da manha muito completo e gostoso. Funcionarios atenciosos,e o preço é muito em conta. Eu recomendaria e com certeza voltaria para este hotel. Excellent localization of the hotel, just in the middle of the most important touristic points, very good breakfast, and the price is really good, comparing to other hotels. I would recommend this hotel.
Nada a reclamar. Nothing to complain about.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is great for getting to the main sights, the train station by bus and a stop for the airport bus.
The location is great, just in the center of the city!
The main street was very noisy and the window of the room are not well isolated, so it was really difficult sleep, and the bathroom (in general the room) smells really bad, even though it was tried to mask with a room sprey! and the bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was good if you like bakery stuff.. but there was no eggs, cheese, olives or fresh fruits! so, I was highy disappointed at the end!
Breakfast was great
Our room was awful. Bad springy bed, old bedding, the towels looked more like rags than towels.
Great location- large room - great breakfast - clean and friendly
Hard to find with GPS and language barrier (English) on phone didn't help
Good hotel for a reasonable price in a very central location
