Very elegant hotel particularly for the price point

One male member of the front desk was somewhat unfriendly , otherwise I could not fault the hotel and would definitely recommend it to friends

There was one female staff person who we tried to deal with as much as possible because she was pleasant. We were lucky to get one parking spot next to the hotel. The hotel is close to the old city streets and is easy to get to. Breakfast was good. Happy to leave.

Sorry, but the male staff were terrible. Very rude and not friendly or welcoming. Awfule! We wanted to leave, but were stuck with the reservation. The hotel is on a busy street that had trucks and people up and down all night. Too loud to sleep. Some mold in the shower. Room was small. No lift and no help offered.

Items at breakfast seemed to run out and were not replaced automatically. One girl seemed to be trying to cope on her own clearing tables, setting tables etc. You cannot have breakfast outside as advertised. The hotel has no lift so top floor unsuitable for older persons.

Great variety for breakfast. Location soooo good - just minutes from centre and roughly 5 mins from the Campo. Rooms ideal for overnight stay. Staff friendly and helpful. If going back to Siena, would definitely stay there.

Location was great - within walking distance of the bus station and all of the major attractions in Siena.

No elevator in the building - carrying cases up three flights of stairs is tricky. Breakfast was somewhat chaotic - we had to clear a table ourselves one morning as no staff seemed to be around.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Room spacious, well equipped and very clean. Perfect location accessible by car to the town centre. Although no on site car parking staff directed is to a free public site nearby.

Would have been perfect of the hotel had offered a bar/drinks service particularly as they did offer a restaurant - but you can't have everything

Far from station and not easy to find it w/o map for the first time, as streets complicated in Siena.

Clean room, location

The receptionist wanted to put us into a room on the 3rd (!!!) floor. I had a hip replacement 5 months ago. Both of us are in our mid-sixties. Absolutely inconsiderate behavior.

The location was great, the rooms clean, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms clean. We were in the front, but the windows and shutters kept street noise out very well. The hotel has a terrace that overlooks the football stadium, we were able to enjoy a game while we were there. The breakfast was good, the coffee excellent. Loved the charm of this old world hotel.

Our shower did not have a shower door or curtain, it was inconvenient because when you took a shower, the water got all over the floor.

Locanion is perfect. It's nearly in the old town, you just have to cross the road, but you have no problems with your car, as it's the morden part of the town. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The room was clean and spacious enough. The breakfast was rather nice.

At the back of the hotel there is a stadium!!! Our windows were facing it. Luckily, there were no sport events that day, but if there is...you can just imagine. And 200 meters futher there is a park with atractions, so it was rather noisy.

Very good place to explore beautiful Siena old town. Clean, cozy, clean, stylish hotel. Good breakfast. Ask for parking place in advance – it is real problem in Siena. Walking from hotel to old town center is unforgettable.

Architecture, garden terrace, beautiful hall way and restaurant, nice & clean room, and good b'fast. Quiet room.

Detergent smell.

I liked the location, only about 10m from Siena 'old town' and close to the bus station. Good buffet breakfast. Hotel with charm. Our room had a quaint little balcony overlooking the football field in the rear of the hotel. Would stay here again.

Funny almost musty smell in the corridors and room, but perhaps it is only the kind of cleaning products they use. Male staff not friendly at all. I still really liked the hotel and would recommend it.

Very well located - just outside the ZTL zone, several parking garages are nearby as well as public parking. Close to the city centre - you can walk anywhere, but if you need a bus - it's just downstairs. Nice rooms, but no air conditioner so you have to open the windows at night - very noisy as a result (we had a corner room overlooking the basilica. Breakfast buffet ok for Italy - cheese, salume, eggs, cereals, freshly baked croissants, fruit, acceptable machine coffee. Very welcoming and helpful staff who can help with anything. Overall good value for money!

No air conditioning No free wifi and bad usual cell signal in room. Rooms with street view are noisy, better choose those with stadium view if possible. No elevator in the building which can be a problem if you stay at higher floors.

Bus from FLORENCE had a stop almost in front of hotel.

Comfortable beds, easy to find stairs and no elevators...however staff helped with the luggage. Great breakfast. And good location

Rooms with the view to Viale Curatone are very noisy.

Gorgeous food in Downstairs Restaurant. Reception Staff most friendly, helpful. Holiday Literature available which enabled us to do Tour trip to San Gimignano etc

Got little value from guided city walk; guide a very nice person but as is the case with so many guides, imparting the information a big difficulty, too many people around, difficult to hear voice....every guide should carry microphone as was the case at San Gimignano.

The location was great, they accepted dogs which was also a big plu for me, one member of reception staff was helpful.

Toilet cistern leaked, bath mat had stains on it, soap dish was filthy and general cleanliness was poor, bed squeeked so that every time I rolled over in the night I was woken up by it, door very thin and room close to reception so noisy, tv remote didn't work and when returned to reception for a replacement I was told it was the only one so it must be the batteries, it still didn't work but then the tv kept losing signal so it didn't matter anyway. Reception staff miserable and unsmiling (apart from a younger man who was very helpful).

Location , near to bus/train station . Staff attentive and assured of their English and ready to accept clients testing their Italian language skills , or lack off,as the case may be.Next visit I would ask for a rear room as front is on main road and can be noisey with traffic noise.

Church bells , homely but very loud early in the morning........close your windows!

First, the hotel's location was great for getting dropped off at the bus station. It was just around the corner, and not having to drag our luggage very far was a big relief. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, for less than $100 a night, this was a good deal.

Although close to the bus stop, the hotel is a bit of a walk from the town square and the cathedral. Distance wise it's not bad, but when you throw in the very steep hills, it's a lot. Be prepared! Also, the hotel did forget to give us back our driver's licenses when we checked out (and we forgot to ask for them back). Thankfully, we had our next hotel call them and they forwarded them on. We got them back two days later. We really did appreciate the fast work to make up for the mistake.

This hotel was everything we wanted from a place inSiena. The safe were so helpful and friendly and we loved our room.

The women at the front desk are great. The men, not so much. It's a good value if you get it for under $60 Euro.

There is NO elevator!!!! If you have luggage beware of going up 2 flight of stairs.
