You could live and eat in your own version of heaven

A little caught off guard at the end with some small, never discussed charges. If you request an extra glass or cup of coffee, you will be charged without warning
The location was great - a lovely, winding mile down to the beach through all the shops and restaurants or a picturesque winding walk north to catch the bus to Sorrento or Amalfi. Rooms were small but super clean and we weren't there to hang out in the room. Other reviewers complain about the steps but that's Positano (or Santorini) - if you don't like walking, this isn't the place for you.

It didn't worry us but there are 108 steps to negotiate.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant had awesome views. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious and we also had some evening meals in the hotel.

Be mindful that there are lots of steps everywhere.
Spectacular views from the room and the dining area. Upper bus stop is walking distance from the accommodation

The hotel had the most amazing views across Positano, clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. Very relaxing sitting on the terrace looking over the village bathed in sunshine whilst sipping a well-earned cocktail after walking back from Positano.

The wifi connectivity was mediocre, but usable.
This hotel was one of the better ones I've stayed at. Very luxurious. The staff were very friendly, and always willing to help. We really enjoyed the included breakfast. It was top notch considering it was included. The view from our room was stunning. It was great to sit outside on the balcony and look out on to the coastline and the sea.

Beautiful room with spectacular view from the balcony. Fantastic Aqua-jet massaging shower. Unfortunately hot tub and restaurant were Closed till Summer, would have been a bonus to have a spa overlooking the hilltop views. Plenty of food options nearby for dinner.

Very difficult to find hotel, especially if arriving by car! A long way to walk to suitcases all uphill, there are many steps to get to hotel.
View from room was wonderful. Breakfast room was very nice, breakfast selection was average.

everything was nice. Breakfast was so clean and delicious. Everyone in this hotel was so helpful and friendly.

The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, and there was no a/c since it was technically fall there, but it still got very muggy/warm at night. Also the stairs leading up to the hotel. My god. They need a bell you can ring to get someone to come help you with your luggage. I got about halfway up the stairs with two 50 pound suitcases before I nearly collapsed and someone came running down to help, and that was just by chance that they heard me. No bueno.
I stayed at Conca d' Oro for three nights during the very low season so I got a pretty good deal. The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk to downtown, but there are stunning views and cute little shops along the way, so it's actually very pleasant. The view from my room was absolutely incredible. Sitting out in the balcony in the morning and at night was an amazing way to start and end the day. The free breakfast buffet in the morning included a nice variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, and plenty of fresh juices. More than enough to keep you going until lunch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice experience.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful views. Warm and freindly staff. Helped us with our luggage as the climb was a little steep.

Staff were very friendly and rooms were clean. Eat at the Hotel because the meals are amazing. Luca will take good care of you and trust his wine suggestions. Have breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the unbelievable view. Really good bang for your buck.

Need more English tv. But you will love the view
I love the place super sunrise ,good breakfast and super views
November 23, 2014
There was no aircondioning, which we were not told of and we happened to be the when it was rather warm. When I rang up the reception to say that hot air was coming out, I was then told there was no air conditioning at this time of year, even though Booking.com has stated there was.
It was high up on the hill with stunning views across the water and towards Almafi. It was a lovely hotel.
November 22, 2014
It is a bit isolated from the centre of town
The sea view was good, staff were excellent and really couldn't have been more helpful and the room was comfortable. The view of the sunrise was also very special!

The view Breakfast Helpful staff The walk down to the beach Looking up at the mountains The traditional decor

We enjoyed the breakfast which there was plenty of, cakes, bread rolls, croissants etc. It's a shame there was no dinner menu at this time of year as also many restaurants close by were closed due to being out of season. Though the hotel was very happy to do a sandwich or pizza for you if you didn't want to go out.
We loved the setting even though there were many steps up, but it was worth it for the views. We liked the lovely clean decor especially the outside terrace dining area.
November 16, 2014
We wish we could have visited during a warmer season to enjoy the view while sitting in the sun!
We LOVED the view - and the value of the hotel was great. We visited during the off season (early November), so many places were closed, but Conca D'Oro was opened, with breakfast included and 24-hour bar service!
November 16, 2014
Very loud room - even with ear plugs we could hear our neighbour's tv. "Large double bed" was two singles pushed together. Not very comfortable. Hotel was very hard to find.
The cleanliness was impressive and staff was excellent.
November 15, 2014
The lack of signals where the hotel was, and, of course, the lack of transfer from Chiesa Nuova fermata to the hotel, and the 107 steps!!!!
The Staff, the cleanliness, the view.
November 6, 2014
It is up 107 steps so not for everyone
November 2, 2014
