+ great view with balcony. + rooms, bed, toilet, lobby are clean and nicely decorated. + great service and friendly staffs.
- the climb to the hotel is a tad tiring but you are rewarded with friendly staff and great view.
everything was nice. Breakfast was so clean and delicious. Everyone in this hotel was so helpful and friendly.
I hope you guys cut the damm tree near the restaurant. And make some elevator or something
I stayed at Conca d' Oro for three nights during the very low season so I got a pretty good deal. The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk to downtown, but there are stunning views and cute little shops along the way, so it's actually very pleasant. The view from my room was absolutely incredible. Sitting out in the balcony in the morning and at night was an amazing way to start and end the day. The free breakfast buffet in the morning included a nice variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, and plenty of fresh juices. More than enough to keep you going until lunch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice experience.
The room was smaller than it looked in the pictures, and there was no a/c since it was technically fall there, but it still got very muggy/warm at night. Also the stairs leading up to the hotel. My god. They need a bell you can ring to get someone to come help you with your luggage. I got about halfway up the stairs with two 50 pound suitcases before I nearly collapsed and someone came running down to help, and that was just by chance that they heard me. No bueno.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful views. Warm and freindly staff. Helped us with our luggage as the climb was a little steep.
Staff were very friendly and rooms were clean. Eat at the Hotel because the meals are amazing. Luca will take good care of you and trust his wine suggestions. Have breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the unbelievable view. Really good bang for your buck.
I love the place super sunrise ,good breakfast and super views
Need more English tv. But you will love the view
It was high up on the hill with stunning views across the water and towards Almafi. It was a lovely hotel.
There was no aircondioning, which we were not told of and we happened to be the when it was rather warm. When I rang up the reception to say that hot air was coming out, I was then told there was no air conditioning at this time of year, even though Booking.com has stated there was.
The sea view was good, staff were excellent and really couldn't have been more helpful and the room was comfortable. The view of the sunrise was also very special!
It is a bit isolated from the centre of town
The view Breakfast Helpful staff The walk down to the beach Looking up at the mountains The traditional decor
We loved the setting even though there were many steps up, but it was worth it for the views. We liked the lovely clean decor especially the outside terrace dining area.
We enjoyed the breakfast which there was plenty of, cakes, bread rolls, croissants etc. It's a shame there was no dinner menu at this time of year as also many restaurants close by were closed due to being out of season. Though the hotel was very happy to do a sandwich or pizza for you if you didn't want to go out.
We LOVED the view - and the value of the hotel was great. We visited during the off season (early November), so many places were closed, but Conca D'Oro was opened, with breakfast included and 24-hour bar service!
We wish we could have visited during a warmer season to enjoy the view while sitting in the sun!
The cleanliness was impressive and staff was excellent.
Very loud room - even with ear plugs we could hear our neighbour's tv. "Large double bed" was two singles pushed together. Not very comfortable. Hotel was very hard to find.
The Staff, the cleanliness, the view.
The lack of signals where the hotel was, and, of course, the lack of transfer from Chiesa Nuova fermata to the hotel, and the 107 steps!!!!
It is up 107 steps so not for everyone
The view , the staff , the food , the room , price wise excellent .
Too hilly !! Should may be look for an elevator or something like that .
Views from the balcony and dining room were fabulous. Dining room, inside and outside tables, was absolutely gorgeous.
ambiance staff view location
Location, it's away from the town centre so it was quiet. Close to the smaller (and nicer) beach. Town centre is an easy stroll away. Staff were friendly and helped us with arranging transfers and a porter to the ferry dock. They also booked restaurants for us for dinner each night. Breakfast was simple and good.
No iron available in the room.
The rooms were clean. Very good location. Staff very attentive Great view
Breakfast was ok, but no hot choices and no fresh juice just squash. Lots of stairs so need to be mobile to access however positano is not a great destination if you do not like stairs! A good way to work of the pasta!
The staff were excellent & the restaurant for b'fast, lunch & dinner was very good. The room was quiet & roomy. The view from the balcony was fantastic
The 107 steps although an excellent porter service takes your bags up and down. The shower was minuscule with very poor pressure.
Great location for area, perfect views, very attentitive staff.
it did not spoil anything but the outside balcony could be kept cleaner with regular sweeping
Dinner in this hotel is marvelous, not only the taste of the food but also the atmosphere and the view. Staffs are very nice and helpful.
The hotel is a bit far from the beach. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the beach. However, it could be considered as a good exercise and traded off with the view from the hotel.
Breakfast and the views.
This is a beautiful hotel! The views are breathtaking, I wouldn't want to be any lower down the cliff. Yes, there is a lot of stairs to get to and from the beach but for us it was ok. It's positano, if you want a good views then you'll have to take stairs.
The bed was uncomfortable. But that's pretty much it.
