Central location Friendly staff Spacious room Clean and tidy Wi fi good
Breakfast poor selection No english speaking channel T.V failed to work Limited space in bathroom Room 101 next to car garage with operations going to all hours. Then family retired to first floor living accomodation and appeared to argue to early hours Dogs in neighbourhood wanted to bark at all hours.
Good value for money
Intermittent wifi Unimaginative breakfasts.
Cleanliness. Easy to walk to the old city centre, to the port and the seaside. Very helpful staff (of one).
Breakfast not bad, but could have been better. No international news channels on TV.
The rooms are quite good and gives the comfort required for such a purpose.
The breakfast had no variety that would go with such a standard of Golfo Some of the workers were quite good and friendly but others were rough but may be it was the language barrier
The room was big and clean and they cleaned the rooms every day. The location is nice and accessible easily from the metro stop.
The breakfast is very minimal The shower chamber didn't stop water rolling onto the bedroom The bathroom had no place to keep a shampoo or a body soap.
-rooms were clean -close to shopping area and docks -staff friendly
-very dirty outside the building -don't think I would walk outside after dark
Location, breakfast, good matress to sleep
No daylight in the room, (but what do you need that for when you want to sleep?)
A good hotel, very well renovated. Friendly staff.
A very clean and modern hotel, close to metro station and a Corso Umberto I, but in a quiter street, also close to the historical center. A very spacious room with automatic air conditioning system. Very quiet at night.
Breakfast in other hotels was better than in Albergo del Golfo.
Good location. Helpful staff. Value for money
Very good location
Poor breakfast and very small and uncomfortable breakfast room.
So close to Metro! Also steps from historic city center. Elevator is a blessing for those with luggage! Great breakfast with yogurt, fruit, bread and ham. The rooftop terrace was lovely, but underutilized. Perhaps serve coffee or offer a wine hour on terrace?
The location was extremely convenient, but marred by amount of garbage overflowing the row of dumpsters across the street. The bathroom could use a hook for clothes or towel.
It was close to all places we wanted to visit, 10 min. walk to the harbour and the stop of Alibus (shuttle to the airport).
Ok Italian breakfast. The hotel was quite good situated in the centre of Napoli.
Their staff showed no passion for the hotel.
Location, very good breakfast, personell
No dish in the room, while staying 4 nights bedsheet wasn't changed, too hot even with climate control switched on.
Convenient location to both old town and the royal area. The room was very clean and had nice furniture. The bathroom had a high end shower system.
Location, nice staff, nice bed.
There was a cabinet with strange things in our room.
Friendly staff who were most helpful. Access to sites of Naples. The terrace was a haven of peace after a busy day.
As with most of Naples the roads are extremely busy and difficult to cross owing to scooters! Most side streets need regular cleaning which does not seem to happen.
The hotel was close to the ferries. Room nice and roomy.
The bathroom the shower was a pain flooded the floor as the shower door did not close. No toilet roll holder or towel rails in the bathroom. No porter for luggage would of been helpful if day staff could not speak english. Over all it was OK
Good location. Clean room. OK, but nowhere nearly as nice as it looks in the pictures.
Uncomfy bed- pillows were really hard/uncomfortable so I had to use my jumper instead. Staff too my passport to photocopy when i asked for it back they said they keep it overnight. In the morning staff couldn't find my passport after a few frantic minutes they found it still in the photocopier. This is unacceptable- how can staff be so careless with guests' passports?
Really good location: - 5-10min walking distance from historic part of Naples - 1min from train station (metro - Line 1) you can easily go to Pompei/Herculanum/Vesuvio/museums/Solfatara by train - 5min from the Harbor (boat for Capri, Ishia, Sorrento) Nice room - clean, wifi perfectly working, maybe a bit too warm (35•C) when AC is not on, nice breakfast, nice staff ! Really nice stay, would recommend this hotel !
The fact that my mobile network was not available in most of the hotel area (Vodafone).
Goodlocation. Welcoming staff.
Having to ask for clean sheets
Location to both train and ferry terminis. Large room with more lights and brightness than any other hotel or motel room that I can recall.Clean.
The streets were full of overflowing skip bins. Much of the rubbish didn't get to the bin anyway. Grafitti everywhere. Room bare of accessories expected such as tissues, water glass's, hotel information.
Location was very good for metro.
Not many places to eat close to hotel. Breakfast room was full when we tried to go and eat and we didn't have time to wait.
Location near the port and a decent part of town. Renovated to be a very fresh, modern hotel. Quiet. Energy efficient.
No window in room at eye-level. Bathroom felt like it was not completed following renovation: no place to put towels or soap or hand clothing ...
