So close to Metro! Also steps from historic city center. Elevator is a blessing for those with luggage! Great breakfast with yogurt, fruit, bread and ham. The rooftop terrace was lovely, but underutilized. Perhaps serve coffee or offer a wine hour on terrace?

The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the port of Napoli, with easy access to take a jet boat to Capri, Ischia, or Sorrento. Also simple to take a short bus ride to/from Piazza Garibaldi & the central train station.
Laura,

The hotel was clean, modern and nice. The ac was good and there was wifi. It was very close to the University metro station, which was convenient. The hotel itself was nice and a good value.

The staff were helpful, and the facilities had obviously been renovated. It was a good base for exploring the historic centre of Naples. There are places to eat and a Metro station close by. Despite some oddities of our room, it was a good hotel for the price.

It was very easy to find. We immediately fely most welcome, and all our questions were speedily answered. Qua location it was really good, we could go on foot into the heart of the centro storico. the staff were really helpful and the breakfast surpassed our expectations. And finally, our room was spacious, clean and excellent bathroom. Altogether a most pleasant stay.
Nothing to say here, it was all most positive.
The staff were helpful, and the facilities had obviously been renovated. It was a good base for exploring the historic centre of Naples. There are places to eat and a Metro station close by. Despite some oddities of our room, it was a good hotel for the price.
The renovated bathroom was vast but had no toilet roll holder, and nowhere to hang clothes when showering. Odd!
Good location, very clean and high tech entry and lighting control. Good size room and plenty of towels
Staff, modern touches and nice location (at super modern Universitario metro station, one stop to Train Station and 3 to National Museum)
noisy AC, uneven facilities (e.g. very modern electronic controls contrast with rather barren walls)
neat and clean. great redo interior like new. staff very helpful. had a plumbing problem in room, but was taken care of in 5 minutes. great service. close to subway and many attractions.
area is not very good, but like much of Naples. gritty. only problem was having my wallet stolen at train station when in the city 7 days earlier.
Very good hotel near historical centre of Naples. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast.
Bad Wi-Fi.
Staff is always ready to help. The place is clean and comfortable, with easy walking distance to transportation, museums and shopping. Close to the Beverello port, so that one can visit the islands and the Amalfi coast. Have been using this Albergo once a year for the last 6 years, and have no complaints.
The location was spot on and easy to access rail or bus or ferry to the islands. Plenty of good eateries within 1 km.
Surrounding area a little dirty
The location was a 2 minute walk to the metro and 15 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi (Naples central railway station) The breakfast was plentiful. It was quiet at night.
It is the Australian equivalent of a motel so we felt we got what we paid for. Could have had a kettle, tea and coffee but perhaps this isn't done in Italy. Not easy to find place to eat at night.
Central location Friendly staff Spacious room Clean and tidy Wi fi good
Breakfast poor selection No english speaking channel T.V failed to work Limited space in bathroom Room 101 next to car garage with operations going to all hours. Then family retired to first floor living accomodation and appeared to argue to early hours Dogs in neighbourhood wanted to bark at all hours.
Good bathroom with shower panel; excellent location for anyone visiting University, but also for sightseeing; lady next door for the water as the tap water is not "potabile"; domestic pastries for breakfast
no lighter blankets (just heavier) for autumn season
- great location, within 10 minutes from city center and around 30 minutes to Central railway station - a few meters away from metro and bus stations - rich breakfast (we were expecting only cereals, milk and coffee :-d) - friendly and helpful staff - located on a quiet street (in the morning we enjoyed coffee on the terrace, without noise form traffic) - big, comfortable room
- small window, close to the ceiling, therefore no view and not enough fresh air - dust on the lamp, night stand - phone signal on 3rd floor almost non-existent
Good value for money
Intermittent wifi Unimaginative breakfasts.
Cleanliness. Easy to walk to the old city centre, to the port and the seaside. Very helpful staff (of one).
Breakfast not bad, but could have been better. No international news channels on TV.
- clean, comfortable - nice staff - very good cofffee
- Italian breakfast better than American breakfast, but not close to German or Austrian breakfast
The rooms are quite good and gives the comfort required for such a purpose.
The breakfast had no variety that would go with such a standard of Golfo Some of the workers were quite good and friendly but others were rough but may be it was the language barrier
Everything was nice and enjoyable. I have no complaint. I would definitely suggest the hotel to other people who want to have a pleasant time in Naples.
The room was big and clean and they cleaned the rooms every day. The location is nice and accessible easily from the metro stop.
The breakfast is very minimal The shower chamber didn't stop water rolling onto the bedroom The bathroom had no place to keep a shampoo or a body soap.
-rooms were clean -close to shopping area and docks -staff friendly
-very dirty outside the building -don't think I would walk outside after dark
Location, breakfast, good matress to sleep
No daylight in the room, (but what do you need that for when you want to sleep?)
A good hotel, very well renovated. Friendly staff.
A very clean and modern hotel, close to metro station and a Corso Umberto I, but in a quiter street, also close to the historical center. A very spacious room with automatic air conditioning system. Very quiet at night.
Breakfast in other hotels was better than in Albergo del Golfo.
Very good location
Poor breakfast and very small and uncomfortable breakfast room.
So close to Metro! Also steps from historic city center. Elevator is a blessing for those with luggage! Great breakfast with yogurt, fruit, bread and ham. The rooftop terrace was lovely, but underutilized. Perhaps serve coffee or offer a wine hour on terrace?
The location was extremely convenient, but marred by amount of garbage overflowing the row of dumpsters across the street. The bathroom could use a hook for clothes or towel.
