Albergo DuilioCorso Italia 13, Porta al Prato, 50123 Florence (Show map) Very good, Score from 90 reviews“The care and attention of staff was excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the effort to make you feel at home was perfect. Value for money was also excellent. All in all, this was a very suitable hotel in which to be based and I have nothing but praise for the manner in which everything was done. ”

Vincenzo the hotel owner was really nice and helpfull with everything. The location of the hotel is really good, it's right in the city with 10 minutes walk from the center of the city and right by the river. The rooms are tidy and clean. The bed is slight hard but i was mostly outside exploring the city so I wasn't in much. It's really close to the train and busstation, maybe 10 minute walk. For the low price and it's location it's definitely worth it, and i would stay at the same place again if i would travel to Florence one more time.

For the money paid, the stay in this small hotel is incredible. Comfortable, clean, friendly, cozy, helpful, convenient... I'd probably stay in the same place next time I go to Firenze.

The owner of the house, Vincent is extremely friendly and professional. He gave us guided information about how the see and experience Florence. Besides, he also has good taste of food. We followed his instructions for three nights and every night we were glad making the right decisions. The location of the house is not very central of the city but in a very good area, however, it only takes 15 mins walk from the station. The breakfast was serviced in the cafe across the hotel, simple but delicious. To sum up, I highly recommend this hotel to people who want to explore the beauty of Florence.

If you are looking for a Hyatt Regency, stay in a Hyatt Regency. If you want to experience Florence for what it is, this is the place. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and practical. The staff is very attentive to your needs, and wants to please you. I would definitely stay here again. Three flights of steps without an elevator is rough if you have alot of luggage. However, the staff quickly came down the stairs to help carry the bags.

I regret that I didn't stay more nights there.Florence is a nice city, worthy to stay more than 1 night. Albergo Duilio is a nice small family hotel way better than the hotels with the similar or a bit higher price. The boss Vincenzo is such a nice person, patient, warm hearted and very responsible. I will definately go back one day.

Manager was nice guy . Bed and other things very clean . The location was near station and not so far from center .Area was quiet . Breakfast was very little but the common thing in Italy ! even in 4 star hotels we saw ; The place of breakfast in another building but in a nice and historical bar (There are 2 places to choose ; Choose the one which is a little more far as this is the nice one I am speaking about) . There is a supermarket near the hotel called centro . Hotel is very old and toilet and bathroom were very small but of course we knew it before and so didnt bother us so much .

We were very happy with the quality of the hotel. The room was clean, white towels, crisp white linen, the bathroom was clan and convenient location. Vincent and the other staff were very nice, they helped us to carry the bags both ways.We certainly will stay there again. The room we got had a bidet right in front of the bed, very unpleasant to look at. But we blocked it by putting a chair and put one of the bag on it and cover the rest of the chair with a towel. Problem solved.

Great, friendly staff. Good location, not too far from the rail station. Clean rooms. Overall, a nice budget hotel. Lift was out, but thankfully staff helped with bags up the stairs. Shower was a bit weird - small bathroom.

we stayed in a double room with shared bath. There was no problem cuz all other rooms have their own bath. So it was just a bathroom outside your bedroom.

The owner of this hotel was so kind and helpful and friendly, a real bonus in what I found to be a very unfriendly country! The room was basic but clean and had all I could need with a nice, basic breakfast from a nearby cafe. The location was good and you can easily walk to any of the major tourist attractions. The owner will help you find anywhere you would like to go on a map provided. The station was not a problem to get to if you are young but if you are older you may not be able to walk with luggage. The shower, toilet and basin are all in one small room which isn't the greatest idea but it didn't bother me.

Nice staff and survice, he'll directly give u a map, tell you how to go to spot view and recommend which restaurants are cheap and good, next time will be cheaper for stay, tidy and comfortable room Need to go out for breakfast, no elevator to go 2/f, if u go back hotel at night, it's no light on stair (I finally need to open the torch from my phone)

Fairly decent. The price being so reasonable it was not a problem. Just three things, the shower is just behind the door of the bathroom and is a bit awkward. Secondly, there's no ac and in the oppressive Florence heat that is not such a good idea - a much cheaper hotel in Venice's old town had ac. And finally I guess it was bed bugs, but can't be too sure about that anyways I came away all itchy and with bites, never seeing or hearing mosquitoes.

The owner/receptionist/housekeeper/concierge an all around person is a great guide too. Very helpful and very kind. There was no ac in the room, this can be a bit uncomfortable on a hot summer day in Florence.

“Excellent location overlooking Florence old part of town. Located on a hill with a beautiful pool. Very helpfull concierge service by suggesting some great dinning experience in Florence. Swimming pool and its surroundings - it made us enjoy the trip even better as it was extremelly hot and so gave us the opportunity to hide away from the heat.” Gasper, Ljubljana |
