駅から歩ける距離のアルノー河の近く。ひとりでやっているらしいオーナーが親切で、シングルの部屋の予約だ- ったのに、長く滞在する（８日間）というのでダブルの部屋を同料金で貸してくれた。部屋は広くてとても綺麗- 。古い建物を改造したのでシャワーとトイレの仕切りがなく狭いのは仕方がない。ヨーロッパではよくあること- 。無料の室内LANも便利。エアコンはないが風が通るので、猛暑だったにもかかわらず扇風機で十分用が足り- た。 ３階まで荷物を自分で運ばなければならないことと、朝食はホテルではなく券をもらって近くのBarでとらね- ばならないことぐらいだが、どちらもたいした苦ではなかった。 |

I had really nice time in the Algergo Duilio. I have been very impressed by the nice of the surroundings and the kinde of Vincenzo. He suggested some sort of places to visit and the places with best italian food. I could come to him if I had any questions or problems. Hotel is situated near the Arno river. The center area of the city is only fiveteen minutes' walk away. The breakfast is close to the Albergo Duilio. In the cafe with best coffee, with the best atmosphere. Rooms are not so big, but very comphortable and clean. I recommend this friendly place. |

we stayed at the albergo duilio for five nights in october and found the hotel to be in a nice quiet location and only ten minute walk from the train/bus station. the owner vincent was a gem of a guy and recommended us places to see and restaurants to go to and was a genuine host. the stairs to the hotel were ok for us but might be difficult for the elderly. we found an excellent restaurant nearby called fl gourmet in via il prato 68, very good value and attentive staff. there was also a very good chinese restaurant round the corner from the breakfast cafe. |

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Made some great suggestions for places to eat and visit. Location was very central but tucked away from the bustle of the traffic. |

The host was especially helpful & accomodating. Location was very convenient to sites, but off main street so it was quiet. It's also right by the US Consultate office, so it's also very safe! "European style" shower is a bit small. |

The Albergo is located in a palazzo in a very quiet neighbourhood and yet close to the centre, which is a definite plus! Very good value for money and a very friendly and helpful hotel owner - rooms are clean and provide with all necessary comfort. |

Our host Vincenzo was very friendly and helpful, recommending some local sights, and great restaurants to eat at, we returned to the trattoria with the set menu twice it was so good! The rooms were comfortable and relaxing, and he even accommodated us staying longer with no problems. The area was quiet, and an easy walk to any of the city attractions. Overall, I would return here again the next time I go to Forence, and recommend this hotel to my friends. The bathrooms were very small, but considering all the other pluses and for the comfort of the rooms this was not a major inconvenience. |

Vincenzo, the Manager, is wonderful & would do anything to assist you in having a pleasant stay. The close proximity to the American Consulate means it's in a safe area. The free breakfast was at a great nearby cafe which does fantastic coffee. Is was a bit further out of the centre than I had anticipated. When I had a shower in the single room, it floods the floor. |

Vincenzo the hotel owner was very helpful. He apologized for the lack of an elevator which is something out of his control. The building simply doesn't have room to fit an elevator. He has lots of valuable information for tourists. I ate for 2 consecutive nights in a restaurant he recommended. And this restaurant is the best that I've encountered throughout my trip in Italy. |

great owner, good restaurant recommendation its next to the US embassy so they blocked all the roads around the area. so if you take taxi from airport or train station, its going to cost you more to get there. |

Great location, great guy at reception: Albergo Duilio is a basic and charming place, elderly people should bear in mind that there is no elevator, though. |

Vincenzo was very helpful and friendly! He suggested an excellent restaurant to go to for dinner. He also gave many suggestions on things to do and places to visit. I really enjoyed that he took the time and made the effort to visit and be friendly. |

Location is very safe and excellent. Vincenzo is a fantastic person and made our stay very comfortable.I loved the cafe bar where we had breakfast. I would recommend it to all my friends. |

We were very happy to stay at this hotel, not at least because of our host´s hospitality and generousity. It felt like being "at home" in Florence. It was also very quiet and central. |

Noce clean hotel in the center of the city. Close to the American Consulate, therefore very quiet and safe. Poor breakfast (a lot of flour products), would like ham/cheese, more dairy products. |

Vincenzo, the owner, made me feel very welcome and the hotel is in a very good location about 10-15 minutes walk to the main sights of Florence. The main train station is under 10 minutes walk away. The immediate area is quiet with no traffic noise, although there are good restaurants only a few minutes walk away - Vincenzo recommended some places to eat which were great! |

Vincenzo was the most wonderful owner ever. Very hepful. For breakfast you go to a nearby cafe - such a good idea. You get more of a feel of Italy plus the pastries and coffee are out of this world. The bed was so comfortable. Great being just by the river. On a map it may look a bit further than other places, but Florence is tiny so it's really not. Would definately stay here again. No lift and on the 2nd floor. No problem for us, but if you had big suitcases and not very strong it might be a prob. But I'm sure if you asked Vincenzo he would come and help. |
