Location, staff were friendly and helpful.
No tea/coffee in the room as advertised. Poor cleaning of the room. Bed was not comfortable at all. No heating very cold. Breakfast is something else poor value for the money better off eating outside just across the hotel
Dirty blanket spoiled the impression.was afraid to touch everything in the room
Great location, close to train station and metro station garibaldi, max 7 minutes away.
The quality is not of 3 star hotel, quite average and poor choice of breakfast
Great and very helpful staff. Rooms are not too small. Good breakfasts. Hotel is quite clean despite some necessity of renovation. Good localization if You wanna feel the Naples spirit and wanna see most memorable places in the city. Some good restaurants near the Piazza Garibaldi
Hotel itself needs some refreshment (it was built/renovated some time ago what is visible especially in bathrooms) . Quite noisy neighbourhood
- good personel, very helpfuly - very tasty breakfast - near to the Central Station/underground
- noise inside hotel, all night long - poor Wi-Fi access (in hall but not in rooms) - hotel rooms is little bit older, but safe and clean
I dislike the mold in room and washroom which unaceptable for living condition, plus the breakfast is terrible. After the 1st day, i never attended the breakfast. I decided to go out gor my breakfast. The mini bar os hot , not cold. We complained about the freezer and safety deposit boc not working bug nothing was done. Our payment should be refund. We even took picture of the mold.
Towels were ok
Asked for the fridge to be changed and they did nothing about it.
The only good side is the hotel is very close to train station..
Major problem: no wifi in the rooms. Just in the lobby. Other cons are the neighborhood is very bad, ghetto places around and you have to walk between street gangs to reach hotel! Also the staff working never makes an eye contact, just want to you to take your keys and go. Awkward people. Didn't like at all.
the location was very nice.the breakfasts were good specially the coffee was veeeery good
unpolite and unhelpful staff in general (with the exception of one younger receptionist he was really nice) - there is no classical air condition, as declared, that the rooms contain the fridge. It is right, but the fridge was not functioning. i damanded the reparation 3 days and at least 5 times, but the staff has no interest on it. - also the electric kettle is declared in equipment of the rooms, but lacked it - wifi is available just for 1 hour free in the lobby
The facilities and the stuff were very good, good location
The staff refused to give me the invoice for the amount payd for the accommodation to this hotel. When I asked the invoice (the day before our leaving from Naples) they sayd that I will reveice it tomorrow. The next day, in the morning, just before going to the airport, at the reception desk was was a person that sayd that he doesn't speak English or French and that he can't give me the invoice. Furthermore, he can't give me the invoice neither for local taxes. So, I am very disappointed of this staff.
Internet just for one hour for free, Personel seemed bored with job.
Very close to train station (5 minutes walk) and to the famous da Michelle l'Antica pizzeria (also about 5 minutes), and even closer to the nearest metro station to go to other parts of the city. Many places in the surrounding to go for lunch/dinner. Breakfast was excellent.
Small room and bath room. Room was barely enough for a double bed, and not so much space left. But it was not a problem for us, since during most of the day, we were wandering around the city and nearby places.
The proximity to the Central station. The breakfast is fine, with a good selection of things to eat. Coffee from a machine, but not the worst I've had.
The photographs on the booking.com site are grossly misleading - I would not have stayed at this hotel had I seen photographs of the place which truly showed the place as it is. The air conditioning did not work properly - the whole hotel's system could not keep pace with the heat - which was fairly mild for Naples in July. The attitude of the staff was world-weary - not at all concerned to help. We did not sleep well due to the excessive heat. The place is very grimy all over - bathrooms, floors and fittings all could do with replacing, or at least a really deep clean. The breakfast waiter was comically grumpy, and I felt sorry for him as he is obviously unhappy in his work. The location is really pretty scary at night. I was travelling with my 12 year old daughter and she was traumatised by the whole experience and vows never to go back to Naples again!
- good position in the city - low price (but for bad quality)
- unpolite staff in general (with the exception of one younger receptionist) - we felt unwelcome in the hotel - there is no classical air condition, as declared, only the ventilator, which had almost no sense (it lasted 3 days of non-stop working for relatively acceptable climate in the room) - there is proclaimed in booking servers, that the rooms contain the fridge. It is right, but the fridge was not functioning. We damanded the reparation 3 days, but the staff has no interest on it. The 3rd day there was new (younger) receptionist and thanks to him we had new fridge in half hour. - also the electric kettle is declared in equipment of the rooms, but we lacked it - the breakfasts were poor and identical every day. They started at 7 o´clock. In the last day we were hurry because of the train and we tried to ask for the beginning of breakfast at 6:55. It was very big problem for peevish staff in the canteen, even though the breakfast was already prepared. It corresponds with the common reluctance of the staff.
staff is friendly even if some of them do not speak English
-breakfast is extremly poor and I had a bad experience: at 9 am they had only cereals and some jam..I asked milk or something to eat and they told me the food is finished :) After some discutions they bring some food but not enough for everyone was in the restaurant -bathrooms and rooms are quite dirty -in the shower cabine, on the floor, I found packages of shower gels used by former guests -they dont't change the towels even after 3 days; just pack again the used and wett towels and put them in their place
Very close to the train station , the guys from the reception desk were very helpfull they booked for me 2 times the taxi and also they printed something for me. The room was clean and big and also the breakfast was ok
Easy to move around (airport, train station, sights and attractions). Breakfast was ok.
I had booked a double room, it was small and dark. Not worth 50 €/night. Nothing like in the pictures. There was some white particles in the tea kettle, calcium?? What ever it was, it was repulsive. Area is very trashy.
Close to garibaldi station Cheap
Sexvideo movie in the neighborhood Aircondition is not working Noisy, dirty area Far from the city centre Worst breakfast i ever had
Surprised to see a rating of 7 for this hotel, should be like 5 or so. It is very cheap, everything just falls apart. In the bathroom shower cabin doors LITERALLY fall apart and you need to hold them firmly to open/close them without them falling on you. In the shower there was no way to make water cool - in middle position it was hot, in BOTH left and right positions very hot (never saw this before). The sink could not be opened after it was closed once (plug did not work), so water did not go away and stayed in it. Air conditioner did not work in our room (only circulated air without cooling it). The "soundproofed" rooms are a joke - all sounds from the street were pretty loud, to the point ear plugs did not help much. Breakfast - worst breakfast we ate in Italy this year (up to now at least), no eggs of any kind for instance, no cakes. So, resume is - don't use this hotel. It may be pretty cheap, but add 5-10 euros and you find hotels a 1000 times better.
Location was pretty central.
Didn't bother with the breakfast after the first day, it was aweful. Wifi only worked for an hour a day.
Hotel not in the best of areas, but near the train and bus stations. It was good value for money.
neighborhood rather dodgy, especially at night shower was in pieces (doors falling off etc.) furniture needs some refresh
