For the price, room was very nice, tall ceilings, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Very comfortable. Owner was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was better than most of the other two star hotels we stayed at while in Italy. |

the breakfast served was excellent and the room was cleaned daily always someone at desk and very helpful when asking for directions we had a room where the buses leave and it was very noisy and difficult to sleep at night and early morning while the room was clean it was a bit shabby could do with a makeover i booked this hotel due to the comments left on this site but budget it is so don't expect anything more, basically the breakfast and kind staff made up for any shortfall |

Friendly staff, ok breakfast and most important of all: the room was clean! Room size was more than ok. Location: very close to the train station, which is a plus (convient), but also a little bit of a con (the noice related to such a busy place). But all-in-all we certainly recommend this place. |

The lady managing the front desk during daytime was very helpful, pateintly giving correct road directions, when asked. She also showed warm behavior during breakfast times. Upon arrival at night, the person manning the desk (man) was neither helpful nor polite.Took very long time to finish his paperwork.The cleanliness of room/bathroom left much to desire. The TV was not working. |

Location is great. elevator was fun as its old style. the breakfast was fantastic for italy standards with hard boiled egg available. laundry mat a few meters away. train station right there, tour lines right there. there are many other hotels around and even in same building. owner was very nice lady about getting us an extra nite for a good price.. the only thing was that if someone is room above you and they are walking with hard shoes you will hear it.. walls are thin also so you could hear people sometimes.. |

Staff Very Helpfull, Location was 3mins away from the train station and very close to the main attractions. We were very satisfied with breakfast and the hotel was kept clean. A/c worked and double glazed windows kept the room very quite and TV had cable. The hotel was a bit old but did not really bother us. The old elevator was quite impresive. The thing that irritated us the most was that the battries from the tv remote needed to be changed and weren't (We did not ask for replacements - but left the old ones beside the remote and they did not change them) |

Hotel location is the best one, just 3 minutes from de Santa Maria Novela Train Station (SMN), the hotel staff, lovely people, very friendly and helpful. Room sizes according Europe (with A/C), very good size good and clean bathroom. Clean bed but a little “gondola”. Breakfast buffet a good one. Very good choice hotel. |

The beds desperately need to be replaced! Otherwise it was great - location around the corner from trains and buses including the tourist bus. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is about 500 m over cobbled narrow streets and there is no parking outside to unload luggage - but a small drawback. But beds desperately need replacing!!!! Beds - old, worn, hollowed and with broken springs that poke you! |

Very friendly staff, they make you feel very welcome. And god location. We had a big room and also nice breakfast. The only minus was that our room was located next to the staircase and elevator and it was very noisy. But I'm sure we were just unlucky. |

nice staff, clean rooms, close to the centre, pets welcome Very loud place, the window of our room was looking to the bus station. No parking possibilities, we had to park our car in private garage recommended by the hotel, which was 5 minutes by walk from the hotel and cost 20 euros per night. |
