The position opposite the lake and the ferry terminal is excellent. The breakfast was also very good and served on a nice outdoor terrace. Most of the staff were helpful. The cocktail lounge looked lovely although we didn't have a chance to venture in. I booked the 'best available' option and on checking in found they had given us the worst possible room with twin beds. Went back to the front desk and said it was unsatisfactory and we were offered a better room with a double bed. I felt it was the usual trick of 'give them the worst possible room and see if they complain'. Not sure I'd risk the 'best available' option again.

Great location friendly staff and delightful rooms - we borrowed bikes for cycling to cernobbio and these along with wifi - all gratis! Bath was so narrow that one didn't linger-breakfast old have had more variety - but this was more about quality than quantity!

Very good location to explore the lake or city. Breakfast is simple but ok. Rooms are clean. Internet is not free. A little bit maintenance would help.

The location of the hotel was fantastic as it was right next to the train station and right on Lake Como. The staff was also every friendly and helped arrange a seaplane adventure for us. We would definitely stay at the hotel again if we ever make a return trip to the area.

Very good location. Small and cosy, but luxurious, very nice old style decoration, quiet and allows privacy. Our room had little balcony with amazing view to the lake and Duomo.Very attentive and helpful personnel.

Really nice location about 50 meters from the actual Lake Como, close to restaurants, markets, shopping, etc. The room had padded fabric walls, which isolated the room from exterior noise. Our room also had a balcony which had a view of the lake. Standard continental breakfast you find at many hotels in Italy but good quality. Friendly and helpful staff.

My wife and I especially the warm greetings of the reception whenever we we step into the hotel.. to retrieve our keys or deposit them... the great attention to our service requests by any staff member that we might chance upon be they kitchen staff, reception or the chambermaids.. and not least the value for money breakfast spread plus the generous and warm service by the waitresses who promptly attend to guests in attendance..

Staff were extremely helpful. They dealt with an unpleasant plumbing smell in ensuite after hours, promptly, courteously and efficiently. Our room was charming and very clean. Would recommend to others.

This hotel is in an excellent location and their restaurant although pricey had an amazing atmosphere, brilliant service and superb food. The room was not as comfortable or stylish as I was hoping.

The hotel location was good. The restaurant and bar were not operating and we should have been advised of that prior to making a reservation. The rooms were listed as sound-proofed and I would completely disagree with that - the noise from outside was terrible during the night.

L'emplacement très sale partout - parking nécessaire mais hors de prix : 24€ la nuit, emplacement très central, pas de vue sur le lac et rapport qualité-prix trop cher : nous n'y reviendronds sûrement pas ! Cela ne mérite pas 4 étoiles !

Les pommes rouges offertes à la réception !!! -La wifi facturée 20.00 euros par jour !!! Dans un hotel de ce prix : c'est hallucinant ! Le parking est facturé 25.00 euros par jour ! Le petit déjeuner est vraiment minimum pour ce type d'hotel (par ex : il 'y a que des oeufs durs et si on veut un oeuf coque : c'est 6.00 euros !! ; le jus de fruit est on ne peut plus chimique ; le thé est le plus mauvais qui soit (aucun choix : théiere déjà prète ) Bref :des prestations dignes d'un 1 étoile !!

Rapporto qualita'/prezzo assolutamente negativo. l'hotel nella manutenzione, negli arredi, nella pulizia e nella cortesia ha 2 stelle di troppo. la colazione e' praticamente inesistente.
