Room Mate Isabella  

The hotel was very well located, close to main train station and all the city attractions. The room was clean, well equipped and very comfortable, including free wi-fi. Breakfasts offered a good range, and very flexible timings. All of the staff were very attentive, and certainly gave the impression of making sure we had a very pleasant stay; which we did. As a special trip/occasion I would definitely recommend this hotel, even though it is by far the cheapest available.

Our room was located on the third floor, and the wi-fi connection this far away from the lobby (where I guess the modem is located?), was not great, and very erratic. It was however excellent in the breakfast area, which I guess is right next to where the modem is?

Very friendly staff, and quite helpful - I requested help with booking restaurants in advance of arrival, and the bookings were made within minutes of sending them an email. Our room (#10) was very spacious. Great location. Liked that breakfast was available until noon.

Air conditioner was not very strong, elevator only started on the 1st floor after climbing some stairs.

The hotel was ideally placed in the centre of Florence. It had been recently refurbished and was very clean and welcoming. The staff were also very helpful. This is my second time there and I would recommend it to a friend.

The room was so cute and very clean. The location is absolutely fabulous! You are located right in the center of great shopping and only a short distance to the duomo which everyone must see when visiting florence. The staff at room mate isabella is so friendly and helpful, and helped to recommend where best to eat and how to get around. Florence is such a gorgeous city, I hope to visit again soon, and will certainly stay here again!

The internet was quite slow so I was unable to watch any tv shows online. I wasn't able to enjoy the use of the nice flat screen tv because all the channels are in italian, lol, but this is no fault of the hotel. I suggest bringing your own entertainment. One other issue was they did not provide wash clothes for the shower, only towels which I found odd.

Clean, great staff, great location. I will definately come back to this hotel.

A smart hotel in a great position to explore Florence.The staff were friendly,efficient and helpful.

The hotel is in a perfect location to feel the heart of Florence. The staff is extremely helpful, and the hotel has a character of its own. Great to visit Florence.

Fantastic location within 10 minutes of most of the important chiurches, museums and other sites

Breakfast service was excellent, as was the selection of buffet items Front desk managers were very friendly and helpful

Room was quite tiny (although probably not unexpectedly so) The 3 flights of steps just to get to the lift to go to the rooms is a bit of an obstacle for anyone not in the finest physical condition.

The hotel provided an excellent and efficient place to stay at a very reasonable price. The rooms were well designed and were well appointed with lots of space. The staff were very helpful and everything was spotlessly clean

You have to be prepared to take a taxi to the center of town or airport and this adds slightly to the cost. Having been to Pisa a number of times this was not a problem for us

The moment I walked through the front door of the Albergotto Hotel I felt comfortable. A staff member met me at the bottom of the stairs and carried all my luggage with a smile on his face. The Reception Staff were very helpful with information and assistance. Room was lovely. Close to everything including the best Cantina in Italy. Thankyou. I will be return and I have told my friends about your hotel and recommended it. The location was perfect for a solo traveller. Breakfast was varied and very good.

The walls were a bit thin for the honeymooners next door. but it didn't bother me.

The Reception staff were excellent, very helpful. Breakfast had a good choice all very fresh.

Very disappointed in the size of the room not at all what I expected. Could hardly move about. Small bathroom also. Bed hard!

Only it's location

We got very disappointed to discover that what we booked as a 4 star hotel in reality is not even 3 star... I would say perhaps 2 star at most... Absolutely everything is extremely old and outdated - cratched walls, moulded bathroom tiles, rusted towel rails, furniture - just a few pieces and so old, scratched and ugly that you keep wondering what garage sale they got it from... Breakfast is very basic as well.

The location is perfect for being a tourist in Florence.Our room was great. The attitude of the hotel team was helpful.

Absolutely Awesome! The room was incredible! Exceeded expecations! The staff was helpful and friendly and quick to respond to any request. The breakfast was super! Just made Florence special! Just an absolutely delightful stay. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Albergotto Hotel allows travelers to see Florence at its best. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of restaurants and all of the cultural and historical areas of Florence. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there for 8 nights and would be happy to stay longer!
