Liked the general comfortable and relaxing ambience. The pool area with the bar and garden were particularly attractive. Furnishings in our room and in all common areas were charming and tasteful. |

We were upgraded to a superior room with a fantastic bathroom. The grounds and setting were beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. We got a great room rate on booking.com which made it very good value for money. There wasn't any shade by the pool, a few umbrellas would be great! |

Pleasant staff and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful countryside with plenty of possibilities fro cycling walking etc. Would happily recommend it. Needs good directions to find it as it is not obvious |

Room a little small but very clean and nice garden views. No make-up mirror in bathroom and real "old-age" TV with poor reception of non-italian programs - therefore difficult to watch the evening news. |

We stayed here for two nights in late April. The weather was not good which was a shame as the hotel has lovely gardens. Although near to Pisa and Lucca the hotel is situated on a very narrow country road. We had dinner at the hotel, the food was very good and the breakfasts are excellent. A charming hotel with very helpful staff. |

Excellent location and ambience, charming and helpful staff, style and good taste of decorations and furnishings, very nice clean pool There was nothing we didn't like, but the restaurant is not (yet) as good as the one up the road (La Cecca). |

Just about everything was excelllent. Room was a bit small. I had a problem one night in the restaurant (do not order the lamb!!) But generally, this is a lovely place that I would happily visit again. |
