Albergo Vittoria is located in a small town in Chianti, an easy drive from a range of wine tasting regions as well as beautiful towns like Sienna. The hotel room includes a private bathroom and is a good size. The rooms have great air conditioning - essential in Summer and free wifi (although the strength of the connection depends on where your room is located). The best thing about the hotel is the restaurant - we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here and the food is delicious and good value for money. Katia is welcoming and helpful, with great suggestions about local wineries and places to visit.

This place was perfect for our stay in the Tuscany area. A bus stop located just a 5 minute walk from the hotel gets you to Florence, Siena or San Gimignano in 30-45 minutes. It's also an easy drive to Volterra, known for it's alabaster deposits. There are dozens of wineries with free tours and tastings and the locals are very friendly. The best part though was the owner, Katia Torresi and her staff at the Restorante Borgo Antico. Great food and wine and awsome service. Katia speaks good english and gave us great ideas as to where to go and how to get there. She even recommended another great restaurant when she closed one evening due to phone problems. She is super and the room had everthing you need. No refrigerator, but she put several bottles of white wine we had purchased in her restaurant refrigerator so we could drink them in the evening. We were driving and when we made the reservation, we didn't realize there was no parking available. (Even though it clearly stated that on the reservation confirmation.) When we got to the hotel, and saw the situation, we were frustrated and thought about looking for somewhere else, but we found a spot in a public parking lot about a block away and we were able to move the car to a spot on the street right across from the hotel later in the day. We used the public lot when we needed to and the street when we could and the parking became a non-issue. Katia's hospitality and great food made up for any inconvenience. Don't eliminate this hotel from your list because of lack of parking. You will enjoy your stay.

La dueña es majisima, los desayunos estaban genial, las habitaciones son grandes y el baño limpio. El mejor dos estrellas en el que he estado. No tuvimos problemas para aparcar, como habia leido

Avons été reçu aimablement par katia et son staff dans un hotel ou l'on se sent bien;les linges de toilette sont changés chaque jour,des cartes postales sur la région sont à la disposition des clients de l'hotel.l'hotel ,style auberge ,permet le déjeuner ou le dîner au restaurant en bas des chambres:c'est bon,les plats sont typiques à la région et le rapport qualité/prix de l'hôtel et du restaurant est excellent de même que la situation géographique entre florence et SIENNE;a recommander si on aime la verve toute italienne de Katia qui tourne à100km/h!nous avons apprécié ce séjour et nous retournerons à Tavernelle famille cognard

La proprietaria (ndr. Sig.ra Katia) è una persona vulcanica e simpaticissima, la location è di sicuro interesse per la posizione a mezza via tra moltissimi luoghi interessanti e per I consigli che la succitata titolare può dare per indirizzarvi verso le mete di zona.

Bon hotel **. Chambre spacieuses et personnalisées. Très bonne isolation des bruits extérieurs, les nuits sont très calmes. Le restaurant associé est aussi très bien. Proximité de l'autoroute Florence-Sienne. Et Katia, la patrone, est charmante! Les canalisations des sanitaires sont un peu bruyantes. Les chambre sont un peu sombres... mais nous y sommes restés 1 semaine, et en sommes très contents.

Fremragende ophold. Ejeren Katie var en fornøjelse at tale med. Hun havde en god humor, var altid i godt humør. At spise i restauranten og lade hende bestemme menuen, wow for en god oplevelse. Vi kommer snart igen. Der var ingen parkering i hotellet, men det var nemt og problemfritat finde parkering i sidegaderne.

sehr nette und hilfbereite Vermieterin (telefonierte mit nächstfolgenden Quartiergebern), sehr gutes, preiswertes und ausreichendes Abendessen; fehlende Parkmöglichkeit nicht so schlimm, da man in den angrenzenden Gassen etwas findet Matratzen zu weich (hängen durch)
