The staff were lovely, rooms were great with lots of natural light and amenities (sky tv, coffee machine etc). The pool area was idyllic with views over the lake and the focal point of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious, the waiter so friendly. This place is slightly out of the way so it's important to have a car. If you're looking for somewhere away from the hustle bustle and expense of Porto Cervo I cannot recommend this place enough!!

From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew it would be a wonderful stay. The service was excellent, the food delicious, the private cabana-style rooms well appointed, and the location incredibly peaceful. The hotel and grounds look better in person than on the web. We felt a bit like we were in a private villa in the hills. Since we wanted to get away from it all and decompress, it was perfect! We also booked a day on the hotels private yacht and enjoyed an incredible day cruising the Maddalena archipelago for only slightly more than it would cost to pack onto one of the mass tourism boats. Highly, highly recommend.

It is off the beaten path, so you must have a car (Sardinia in general is fairly limited in terms of public transport). Since we hadn't planned accordingly, the hotel was gracious enough to send a car to pick us up from our previous hotel. It is about at least a 20 minute drive to the various beaches but a great base from which to explore the region. If you want a hotel in the center of things or with a lot of entertainment, this would not be the best choice.

Quiet place to rest if you don't want to do anything else.

The staff, with the exception of the reception was not friendly. Not beautiful landscape around. Bicycles needing repairs. The brakes simply didn't work. It was impossibly to use any of the 4 bikes. A lot of Mosquitos around due to the lake.

    Individual bungalow

View on the lake was not as per expectation - bathroom was small and shower was far away too small for a 4* hotel and we had no hot water - pool not private enough just in front of the restaurant and terrasse - dinner too early - poor service at the restaurant

Beautiful setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food.

Unfortunately a few wasps at the restaurant balcony.

A peaceful calm location in the hills, so it doesn't take too long by car to visit the north coast.

This is a purpose built tourist artifical hotel. There was no personality or personal touch you only see employees.I Object to extra payment when we were already paying a high price: squeezed orange juice / omlette.A Disappointment ,no Italians staying there so I think that shows it caters for "tourists" who don't know any better.Breakfast selection and menu weak, nothing authentic "sardo" just cheap cheese/slices of meat. Could improve a lot but why should they when they underestimate the intelligence of educated travellers.A Free welcome glass of cheap plonk doesn't fool anyone.
