Excellent staff! Hospitable, cheerful and helpful. Very good location ( not far from railway station and close to main sightseeing and main market=). Not very good shower cabin. Once during taking a shower, i was close to flood the room. (room #16)

I really loved my stay in this hotel! From the first step I set in it, I knew it was the best thing to do when staying in Venice. The door has a very ingenious opening system, like a door in an old castle (actually u do stay in a castle if u choose the Aldobrandini!!!!) The staff was very friendly, as they are 24 hours a day available for u and open the door at night. Ignacio and Beat are very nice, and there are also two very nice ladies The location was the best in Florence, as you are very close to Capelle Medicase, which is right across the Piazza Aldobrandini, then u only have to walk for 5 minutes to get to the Dome and 10 minutes to get to the Uffizi. There's also a supermarket very close (De Spar) but it's a bit expensive. I would advise you to buy food in smaller markets (near the railway station, or the Mercato Centrale). What I found a bit unconfortable was the toilet at the end of the hall, but I had booked a room with a shared toilet so there was no problem, as it was clean and few ppl were using it. Also the shower in the room had a small problem when closing the blinds, but it was no major disconfort. Cleaning lady cleaned every day and made the bed, wich was awesome! It's also very quiet if u get a room which does not face the street, all in all I had a great stay at this hotel and I can only recommend it to you as being a very good one!

Very welcoming host who helpfully allowed me to use my Italian [I found out after 3 days that he had good English]. Very imposing palace building in piazza just by San Lorenzo [and the market stalls]. Very accessible to railway station, coach station [E.G.for Siena] and Terravision terminus for coach to Pisa airport [excellent service]. Also close to Duomo - Giotto's campanile was visible from my first room. Location superb. Will certainly use again if I return to Firenze.

Staff at the reception is very considerate, cordial and helpfull. Excellent location: 5 minutes from the train station, close to major attractions. After leaving the station turn right towards the church. Opposite the church on the left on the sguare is the hotel Majestic. On the right street Melarantsio, it leads directly to the hotel. Remember the huge door on the picture and you will easily find entrance. No heating, and in april is very cold.

The location was great. I did not like the fact that I could not have visitors. I booked my hotel as a single room, because only I would be sleeping there. However, I was not even allowed to have a guest in my room at any hour. I brought a friend over a little past midnight, I was told no guest after midnight. So fine, I understand they did not want extra people sleeping in the room and may have this rule to prevent that. The next day, after spending the day walking around Florence, I invited my friend to come up and relax. The hotel clerk then gave me a hard time and said I couldn't have anyone in the room at all. No where on the website did it say visitors are not permitted in single rooms. Had I known this I would have booked a double room, just so people could come upstairs.

Friendly and helpful reception, good location: it takes few minutes to get to railway station and most important places in the city. Room was basic and clean. The street outside at first seemed to become noisy, but it was quiet during the night. In fact you will not need more when visiting such magnificent city

The hotel is simple but very clean. It has a very central position just behind the Medici Chapel and very friendly staff. Breakfast was again simple but adequate. Excellent value for money. No complaints, the hotel is basic but doesn't advertise differently, so I knew what to expect. With the friendly staff and its central position it's great value for money!

The location is very good.. It's closed to many attractions and there is a street market just downstairs. The room has very minimal facilities. The bed cover didn't look clean but sheets are acceptable. It could get a little noisy since it's closed to everything. Breakfast was nothing more than bread, tea/coffee and juice. The hotel was quite hard to find as well since it has no sign.

The management were very helpful to us. The room was comfortable. The hotel was in a very central position and we could walk to most of the city. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was really bad as the shower screen was broken and we could hardly use the shower. It was psrobably the worst shower that we had encountered.

Person at desk very helpful. Room seemed very secure. Shower curtain didn't work well enough to keep water from rest of bathroom. No internet where my room located and this was important to me.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel has elevator, air conditioner and internet wi-fi. It's close to everything such as restaurants, trattorias, pub, and easy to go to the main attractions of the city. Very very noise at night only because of the street: Sirens, people throwing trash from restaurants, customers from other hotels next door talking loudly. No problem if you close the window and turn on the air conditioner.

Less than 10 minutes walk from S.M.N. Staff in hotel is really warm- hearted and helpful. Room is large. The room is old, need to be re-decorated. A lot of dustbins in front from the gate of the hotel. Not quiet, especially in night of weekends. Breakfast is not so good. There is an elevator in the building, but to reach my room I have to carry my luggage through small and narrow stairs.
